BlizzCon Artists Stage

BlizzCon Artists Stage

By popular demand, we’re bringing back the Artists Stage at BlizzCon this year. Located in Hall A, the Artists Stage will feature groups of Blizzard artists from all disciplines giving live demonstrations throughout the day of their creative processes and answering questions from attendees. The breadth of artistic disciplines being covered is vast, and the artists participating are instrumental in producing so much of the content that distinguishes the Blizzard style.

Below you’ll find a list of the Blizzard employees who’ll be on the Artists Stage, the disciplines they’ll be focused on at BlizzCon, as well as some of the works they’ve created. We hope you’ll stop by for a first-hand look at the many techniques put into practice when these artists breathe life into the fantastical Blizzard universes.

You should check out more game art besides Blizzard's art as well. A lot of good stuff to find out there.

@Shellshock: Warcraft 4 as RTS game and my life is complete! This world needs more RTS games, and so far, there is only one company left, doing great RTS games - Blizzard! Thank God!

Not sure if this is mentioned somewhere - if so please pardon my question - but I was wondering if this panel will be included in the live stream (virtual ticket) sessions? Thanks!

Last year on the virtual ticket, they had Art Panels, talking about the artwork, and showing artwork. It was the only reason I bought a ticket back then, similiar to this year. I love pictures, art, eye candy and everything related to that :)

@Monsterbaby: Haha, you sound like me! Their artwork is one of the reasons I started following what they do, ever since '98. Hopefully there will be a lot of new eye candy this year! ;)

@Aeox: I haven't found any confirmation that they'll stream the artists stage. Its the reason I bought the virtual ticket so I bloody hope so!

@Moojito: I can't find it in my virtual stream. I was really hoping for this. If it is possible to put them up on demand later I would be happy with that. Not as good as live, but still good enough for me.
