Ahh… fresh meat! The Butcher will be pleased to welcome you all tonight for the release of Diablo III! Exclusive launch events are taking place in five locations across Europe. Although there is no cow level, official events will feature prizes and activities, as well as an on-site Diablo III developer to help you defeat the incoming legions of Hell (and sign your copy of the game).

We became aware of an issue affecting the previously available German and EU English versions of the digital install downloader for Diablo III, which would not download all the necessary files. If you've pre-downloaded the digital version of the game in these languages before 10:00 AM CEST (9:00 AM GMT) on Saturday May 12, you must obtain the new downloaders to be able to install properly once the game is released on May 15. We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask that you please let friends and acquaintances know so they can begin downloading the working installer that's now available.

After seeing so many spirited discussions on fansites, forums, and social media channels regarding which class everyone will be playing when Diablo III launches, we decided to pose the question to our own Diablo III development team. 

As we move ever closer to the elusive May 15 launch date, we have some additional details to share on what to expect, how to prepare, and when you’ll be able to begin installing and playing.

Greetings, stranger! In just three days the official Diablo III launch events will take place in five retail locations across Europe. Head over to the Diablo III launch events website to discover the location of your nearest official event. A score of activities and prizes are in store for you, as well as Diablo III developers who will be on-site to sign your copy of the game.
