Male Demon Hunter all the way.
And it will also be my main (for the starters, at least)

I would make such an perfect Demon Hunter in real life..

I got the hatred of a wild beast and discipline of a shaolin monk.

Most likely male. Female wiz for sure though.

Male, everything about the Demon Hunter class screams a Male character to me...this isn't helped by the fact the female DH looks stupid and terrible with ugly armour and silly artwork. I just have this image in my head of a Van Helsing style Hunter (Think more Bram Stoker and Less hollywood) lurking around in some dank, dreary crypt out in the wilderness with crossbow in one hand and torch in the other seeking out some ungodly monster.

Yea, I do like the male Demon Hunter...it makes me sad and really really puts me off the entire class that the "main" Demon Hunter is a female, I dislike the leather wearing "bad !@#" power girls, with thier notion of they get to be awesome because they have boobs and when they squeeze into a pair of leather pants clearly made for someone half thier size it somehow justifys them as fighters.

Leave the women to classes like Mage and Monk, Demon Hunting is a mans game. Hopefully it's not too late and the classes might get "re-sexed" so that the main DH becomes a guy...it's a really strange and odd stereotype that ranged "archer" type characters are females given how historically, women couldn't use warbows due to lacking the size and strength to fire them. Not to mention making archers agillity based is also plain wrong when you consider the average Longbowmen was siginificantly stronger than his swordsmen counter part....but eh, these asian influences that creep in to western RPG's are pesky.

What a long rant about the fact I think the shemon hunter ruined the class for me...hmmm....I think I'll probably end up playing a deMan hunter all the same :D

That is so ridiculously sexist it borders on being physically painful. I sincerely hope you're trolling...otherwise you're just an idiot. Historically women didn't use bows (except the possibility of Joan of Arc) because they were expected to be barefoot & pregnant at home.

Seriously, the pull on the average medieval longbow was 90–110 pounds-force. That's not so bad. Especially, if you've been training to use one. If you're talking about something like the Mary Rose you're looking at 150–160 pounds IIRC.

Also....we are talking about Diablo, 3 right? Last I checked there weren't any Quill Fiends either. =P
