I find there's usually something a bit weird about playing a character with a different gender to my own. I find it also makes me take the game less seriously so I think I'll stick with male.

But on a more sexist note!:
Lets be honest, there's not really any female appropriate classes like "housewife" or "cook".

Female Monk: not buying it.... Why not? Where I live (Taiwan) I see female monks more often than male monks.
Female Barbarian: questionable testosterone levels... The closest you got to a valid point
Female Wizard: isn't that a witch... The closest female counterpart to Wizard is Enchantress, or just Wizard. Witch is both male and female
Female Witchdoctor: that says "doctor" not "nurse"... I have never heard of Witchnurse. Is that an assistant of a Witchdoctor?
Female Demon Hunter: hunting's for the lads... Actually, that is not true. Female Lions are usually the hunters in the pack. I'm not so experienced with demon hunting though.

Hehe, just having a bit of fun to get some "male vs female" banter going. Of course the statements I made were ridiculous, I was hoping the sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek was obvious.

(is it just me or is the quoting system on these forums a bit pointless? Isn't a key factor of quoting some one the information of whom you are quoting?. Maybe I'm just being stupid but should it say "x-member said: blah blah blah" at the top of the quote box?)

i have never played with a female character in any game, it totally ruins the immersion for me. When i play, in my mind i become the character, and as a man i can't really identify myself with a female char.
