It's fun how people think that "1 day later" or "less focus" means Blizzard ignores and think Eu as nothing

I guess its perfectly clear that there is no chance beta key numbers for US and EU are similar, neither volumes nor timing. So dont expect impossibilities.

What could be a lot better though is info coming from community management. In the US everyone is wondering why this wave has been released. Would it be so difficult to have an official posting that blizz is starting a stresstest and adding beta testers in numbers of the upcoming 72 hours, so everyone should check his acc in the next 3 days? And telling that this applies to US only? Would make things so much easier.

ffs guys realize if they would release beta keys in EU and in US at same time they would have overload there at Blizzard cause of numbers of us players that would start downloading the client...
Plus EU and US dont use same clients (I think)
But long story short even if they wanted I seriously doubt that they could release clients for whole world at once..... though they did mentioned something about releasing Diablo III at same time....

No way E.U. will get the same amount of keys as U.S. i think where like 20 to 5 keys (20 us to 5 eu)or maby less

Wrong and wrong. Not only that the beta client is the same and spreads via torrent NOT Blizzard FTP but the previous waves were US only as well.There is no 1 day delay here,you are not getting sh*t.

Dont usualy US WoW realms get patched one day before EU WoW realms?

Its a Beta. There are no realms or different servers here.It was a US wave only like all the ones before.

Iam very sad to hear that more beta invites are out...That means that we are not getting a release date anytime "soon"...

P.S : Iam not in the BETA.

Just so you know, its really mass keys out in the US, i m involved in a gaming community there and from the ppl being online last nite roughly 6 of 10 have recieved a key.

thats what I am saying if they would have to support each folk from here too that is downloading Beta client their Servers wouldn't like that
I mean it doesn't matter what they are downloading it is not easy task.. I mean basicly they need to support huge number of people getting that client.. I mean it doesn't matter what we are getting of them is it same or different client or simple piece of onion
I mean they alredy have to support all onions that they let on US...

dont rly thing they will give something to EU ... who cares about others ?

so basically it is open beta for US. closed beta for others :D

Come on this is Blizzard we're talking about - they have the infrastructure already in place for mass launches. If the systems couldn't cope with a small number of people downloading their beta clients, how on earth would they support a global D3 launch with a percentage of digital downloads?

Let's not be naive - US takes priority, for whatever reason, and the EU players are not getting beta keys in any significant volume.

Have in mind that the beta servers are located in US. US and EU beta testers are using the same client.
One of the main reasons i see that they have more US then EU beta testers is propably the lag/ping the later will face. Spamming the Beta feedback forum with suposed bugs that are only lag raleted, is just waste of time and focus for the community managers.
They also mentioned that at some point they will launch a EU based beta server. Then the EU beta testers numbers will rise and also our change to get a beta key will increase.

Tbh i would prefer to take part later in the EU beta servers then getting one now and face lag that would propably alter or intefeer with my beta testing. Also, even now, i dont know if getting a beta will be a good thing for me. Watching all those movies on youtube and livestreams was already a big spoiler. I prefer to get the retail version of the game in my hands instead of "fooling" around with a beta wich has so many limits compared to the retail product.

We realy want to play diablo 3 beta...

Let's just wait and hope.. and see what happens.. worst case scenario ill play the game when its released :) so im content.. would love to try the beta though.

Sad the beta wave was only in the US, but we can hope and maybe something will happend for us in EU aswell later.
