Diablo® III

Personally for me, D2's Blizzard looked better. Come on, it's a BLIZZARD, freezing, stormy, deadly cold, + projectiles could land faster. Now it look like a summer rain.

What was You expecting from slushy rain ?:D it's looks perfectly matches it's power.

Does it even slow now.. looks like a really week slow if its slow on the video ?

I'm also disappointed by this spell. I can imagine the badass animation for this spell in my head, but it's not even close to what it is now. D2's variant looked way more threatening and covered a larger area, it had that wintery feel to it.

Now it looks like a few droplets of water raining down, soaking your opponent.

It will look more awesome with higher runes :)

It should look awesome even without runes :p

The D2 version neither looked nor sounded powerful. It was basically a breeze of blue pixie dust.

The D3 version, however, feels very powerful with huge chunks of ice shattering on the ground. I wouldnt wanna stand in the target area.

this blizzard what you see in video is ruined.... so real bilzzard should be better! :)

Blizzard does indeed NOT slow. There is a rune that makes a mist after the blizzard ended though. Which makes meteor with the comet rune a better frost attack than blizzard.. Sad.

This is the most retarded complain I've seen in the forums. Blizzard made it like that. DEAL WITH IT.

Not sure if serious...

But if you are, how about some added wind and snow in the target area? Next time there's a blizzard outside, try to look out your window.

Yeah, I live in Sweden. I know what a blizzard looks like.

Yet, snowflakes and wind doesnt hurt hellspawn. Chunks of ice might.

Remember, this is a incantation called Blizzard. It doesnt mean it comes with snowflakes and polar bears. Just a fitting name for a tool to slay demons with.

Dude look at the animation one more time. It doesn't even look like big chucks of ice. it looks like HUGE rain drops. Look at the impact when it hits the ground... it looks so weak... It just goes from huge rain drop to pool of water in a split second.

How you can mistake snowballs with ice is beyond me.

Regardless it won't change for now, as the developers are "happy" with it.

Theres no liquid water in the effect...

Looks more like giant water drops than ice for sure. Anyways its a hopeless discussion since its a matter of taste, but really it could use a little more love from blizzard when you compare it with other skills. And just look at the comments to the skill and compare it with comments to other skills. With so many people complaining, there's got to be something about it.

well i dont like base blizzard also, but it should change with every rune u put in... mean animation :)
