Diablo® III

Did we destroy the Black Soulstone and ultimately all 7 Lords of Hell forever? In th end cinematic you can see Diablo evaporating but the Soulstone keeps falling down to earth. Or is it being evaporated too?

Will there be a Diablo 4? And what on earth are they gonna put in the D3 expansion?

Also: We can only assume that Leah dies with Diablo. But there is no mention of her what so ever after the fight. It's such a weird and unsatisfying end to the game.

Well , there should be an expansion.
I remember Jay Wilson writing that the Mystic may appear in the future , so I think he meant the expansion.

I guess there will be " Diablo 3: Wings of Inferno" where we , with the aid of a mysterious X'elnaga artifact will return Leah back ;)

I think it was Auriel that said Leah's innocent soul will die with Diablo if you kill him.

What about Adria? I don't remember killing her... I don't think she took some random arrow to head. ;)

The game ended kind of without a cliffhanger but left you with a lot of questions, that wont let me sleep for a couple of days... Where's Malthael, Adria? Who is Prophet? Who is Covetus Shen, and that stone he is looking for... Oh and the corrupt templar order, I wana kick their !@#. Oh and I wanted to save Leah :(

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who saw that.

If the Black Soulstone was left over, then chances are the 7 + Leah's soul are still inside, and we got no clue who's going to find it. And Adria is still lurking about.. needs more expansion set.

What there's to work with in and expansion:

Black soulstone falling (lost?)
- It is falling from the high heavens, but i don't suppose it will 'land' in sanctuary as the high heavens are another realm, and not just hiding up in the sky, isn't that right?

Malthaes, the former angel of wisdom
Has gone mental? is now wandering around Pandemonium i think! I'm thinking boss!

Adria
- Gone hiding! I have no doubt she will be killed in the exp. Will probably aid someone in attaining the dark soulstone('s power?) or something similar

Imperius
Will probably be implementet, though i doubt he will be a antagonist, due to Tyreal being reinstated in the angis council, it must surely have required his acceptance.

5 Sin leuteinants
- Kinda sad we didnt get to see Azmodans other top dogs, seeing as there's no prime evils in hell and alot of the other big guys got killed of by us, i suppose there will take over parts of hell.

The way i see the expansion it will focus around Malthaes and Adria stirring things in hell (and possibly aquiring the black soulstone for some purpose), we go in, slay every single demon, and the fallen angel and the wench, and as a reward the angels make us (the player) the new archangel of Justice. Thus also accepting the nephalem. I remember the devs saying that Diablo 3 (and its future exp) would bring closure to the ongoing story arc. So brand new faces in Diablo 4 / World of Diablo in 2021 ;)

Good Questions, except for the prophet. That was answered during the gameplay conversations. Eirena stated that she saw an angel who gave her a scroll and died. Later she said one of the other angels translated the scroll and it happened to be the journal (or something like that) of the prophet so most likely that angel who died was the prophet. If Eirena was at peace with that determination than so shall I be.

All of these! And someone has to take that enormous stick out of Imperius' !@#$!

More than one expansion maybe?

Something that would totally rock the foundation of the Diablo Universe is to have the Demons/Primes etc, create there own version of a Nephalem. Allowing players to play the other side. It could be the next chapter for the expansion or could play alongside the 4 acts we played right now.

Diablo could have had The "Evil Neph" go along some plot behind the scenes. Using the 5 classes we already have wouldnt be an issue, or tweaking them slightly to appease the evil side. Witch Doctor : Necro as an example.

Imperius burns the body of Leah to reveal Diablo so unless she's good with bandages I don't think she's coming back, at least not in her body :P

But i think Anu has the power to create her into angle or, reconstruct her new body.

even if you destroy the stone, you will only BANISH the demons to hell, not "KILL" them.

there is no way, apparently, to fully destroy any demon, just banish them.
eventually they will find a way to get a host (they need a physical form to manifest in sanctuary) and need to be banished again.

Well, while I think it could be cool ... the Nephalem are blank canvases and they themselves are already part angel and demon. They decide themselves which "side to serve". So, there already are evil Nephalem, I would say.

Surely she was just revived at her last checkpoint wasn't she?

Who is Prophet?

I'm certain when they mention the prophet, it's Inarius.
he's reffered to in the Sin War Trilogy ( actually some great books imo ) as the Prophet ;-)
