ok so i thought the game was only a one time few of 59.99 or what ever and now we have to pay again i changed my password and everything but still wont let me play on any of my 60's so now what should i do? so when will this change? cause i didnt know that u had to pay 120 bucks to get the game i didnt know that i was paying 59.99 for a starter edition so is blizzard going to fix this? how many more times are we going to have to pay 59.99 to play D3? i thought it was a free to play game once you bought it you was fine but then we have to pay another 59.99? fix it retards some free to play game huh

I have tried resetting my password and my account also still says I have a starter edition unable to access my higher level characters. Sent a ticket to blizzard was told my request was already resolved.... that's funny seeing as how it still says starter edition and I have the same problem. I reopened the ticket not wanting to wait on the phone all night to play diablo 3.

i never bother with tickets take too long call them most countries its free and usually sorted out while on the phone, a lot of people reverted to starter account due to the wow annual payment not being taken, usually caused by card on account being out of date or replaced so no longer current

I have the same problem aswell. I made a ticket about it and this is what they said:
My wow subscripsion is on Direct Debet. I checked my bank and there is money on my bankaccount and no failed transaction. You guys have exaclty the same problem and then they say this is my fault. Hmmm I'm calling with them right now and will post here what they have to say about this. Edit: I just checked the payment options for wow and there is 1, 3 and 6 months for wow. Now i got Annual Pass on on 27/03/2012 and ends after 12 months, on 27/03/2013. I might have used the 3 months payment/ So my wow got frozen now and the 12 month contract failed. It's kinda sad all the annual pass holders (if they have the same problem as this) don't get a email notification that the 3 months payment for the contract is about to expire and that we should update the payment/subscription inorder to not let the contract failed.

I just hang up with Blizzard and they fixed the problem.
They said that i had my account on Direct Debet, (3 months), but that the bank refused the payment of the new 3 months subscription for the annual pass. This never happened. I called my bank and nothing like this happened. There was no failed transaction what so ever. Also more people have the same problem as me and they still say it's not Blizzards fault. (what i think it is) They fixed the problem for me now, since i made a new subscription for 3 months for wow. I got the same email about the annual pass as before saying it will be 12 months, so it will end at 16/7/2013 but the guy said on the phone he updated that to the original date + the days wow has been on frozen. I asked him 'Why doens't Blizzard send an email notification about an 'about to broken' contract if there is no new payment'. The guy said they never did that and they never will. In 3 months from now i will need to check my account again, so everything goes right >.< PS. Diablo 3 is still on Starters Edition. The guys said it will take up to 10 min. Edit: My diablo 3 is on standard edition again, have my 4 lvl 60 chars and all my money back :)

This docent sound to good,, have à anal pass to that is done in september, and i bet ons it's payed for à year then blizz mess it up and try to force you to pay for it agen if you whant keep playing :)after all bullcrap with this game this Will be à winner.
Oh and blue 1 response copy/paste telning ppl to reset password, docent work maby try another copy trick to tell them what to do? |

Yes mate, same problem here.. my annual pass subscription time for wow is over and now my diablo 3 is starter edition.. blizzard never provided a game code for my diablo 3 so I can't activate it back to normal either.. they're screwing up big time..
