Diablo® III

Hey guys. Apparently i skipped it the first time i ran through act 1.

Now when i go to lorics manor there nothing in the fireplace. What do i do? Reroll? Or is it some sort of random event thing? So keep resetting quest?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

me too ,i missed that part and rebuilt a Monk,but still nothing in the fireplace

Any one know where you can get the rest of the stuff? like the rainbow bottle? Is it by the rainbow waterfall, Please tell me im right XD

I've just confirmed that you are able to get the Shinbone beyond normal difficulty, you just have to keep resetting the quest by exiting game and then resuming it and eventually it will be in logs in the fire place.

Also the rainbow in the bottle is found in act two in the oasis after you save a "rare spawn" npc from being killed. The man tells you about a cave, which you go into and you'll find a "mysterious chest" that has the rainbow in it.

No, but really, is it the bug? Servers just go crazy when I took the first one, and second one was added just few seconds after... so looks like bug to me.

If I make the Staff of Herding, I will need just one... And second one will take one place in stash forever!

Maybe not, it may be possible that the staff is consumed when you open the cowl level, so having a second open to make another staff may not be a bad thing. I admit that I am not sure about this, just saying.

You keep the staff but you can only use it on one difficulty, so you can use the second shinbone for the NM staff or Hell staff

Just set Quest and went to Waypoint, and then ran to the fire place. Got it on the 5th try.

I am struggling for the staff of herding - killed Izual for 10 times and haven't got it yet...

You have to make the staff, it doesn't drop

I got the recipe for the Nightmarish Staff of Herding from a vendor in the Keep, he's right next to the priest that blesses people :P idk if it was a glitch, or maybe just a rare find, but thats how i got my recipe

When I pick it up game crashed and I need to log in again when I check inv Loric Shinbone wasn't in it so I went again to that fire place 10 times nothing...

the recipe you have if for the hell version of the staff not the base staff you have to kill Izual to get the plans for the base staff then can use the plan you obtained from the vendor to upgrade it.

You don't need the bits again to upgrade the staff. For normal to nightmare, you need an upgrade plan from the Keep quartermaster (1g), the original staff and 200k for the crafting fee.
