I just got Normal plans of Staff of Herding and Hell plans of the Herding staff.

Which mats do I need to open the hell pony level?

And what is best of Gold find items or MF find items in there? Today I bought alot of Gold find items so my GF is up to 170% but then I entered a pony level a few times with 2 others guys and absolutely every gear they had was MF. Blues and rares was dropping left and right even from regular mobs so I guess their MF was split between the entire group

take yo staff of herding, upgrade it to nightmare then to hell

Dont get inferno staff it is NOT WORTH the money. I did it last week and its just a death cost, as there is not much space to kite the elites and the clouds drop !@#$ all even with MF gear on. Also, the pony elites are considerably over powered as all of them have fast speed in inferno, thus 1 pony horn hits and your instantly dead :(. But, good luck with hell as its easy :)

So basically I have to upgrade the staffs from normal -> nightmare -> hell?
But dont I need any mats to make them? and how do i upgrade them?

so all i need to do is kill diablo nightmare and run to the store before act end and the nightmare plans is there 100% sure? the pot shop in tristram right?

u need 50k and the 5 secret materials + the recipe for the normal staff
200k + 1gold recipe for nightmare
500k + 1gold recipe for hell
1000k + 1gold recipe for inferno

I went into Normal pony level today and I tried to go in again and the staff was used up. I thought it was permanent. Anyone have any ideas?
