I was really looking forward for this Patch, as I really like to go pass mid Act 3. I'm not really affected by the IAS nerf as I use more crit with +crit dmg. A few things that are now added to a lot other brainless implementation, which brings me closer and closer to say bye-bye forever to D3, after 12 years of waiting and expectation.
Let's start with the 5stack of NV and items:
1. NOT all elite packs drop 2 rare. NOT AT ALL!
2. Several times NOT EVEN 1.
3. Did 10 full A1 runs (just coz is faster) and not even 1 ilvl63 drop. Actually all rare were sold to the merchant coz were crap. NB: 198MF base I have.
4. They increase (100% sure of it) the reflect damage!
5. Mortar change limits all strategy for ranged player (you stay u die, you move = no dmg done = die again).
6. It looks that only blue pack are affected. The Yellow monster pack not! Really?? WTF?
1.0.3 for me, is a really bad joke. I have no idea how brain dead are the core testers to bring such changes!
Other things that bring D3 to a big fail, pretty soon:
1. AH that allows placing stupid prices in both Gold and Euro.
a. For Gold AH please limit to 100 Mil gold the stash! Or maybe 500 Mil. No one will remain penniless for one item, and no one will ask stupid price.
b. For RM, OMG! C'mon! I understand your greed, but limit to a max of 50 EURO or something (although even that is too much).
2. The filter criteria are too few in AH. And BTW, MUST work on Legendary/Set items too! Now is just pointless!
3. Legendary/set items are really, really crap! 99% of it. As I said before, better a 0.2% drop rate but to worth it than now. Rare are better! I know you will fix this, but where the heck was you mind??
4. The suffixes and affixes are big, big mess! If I would be lead designer I would fire the whole team that could bring such crappy dev into the game. Dudes, this is not randomization! Read dictionary! This is crap!
a. What in the name of Diablo add bonuses that make no sense to be used by certain classes???
b. Where the hack was your mind when class specific equipment is a total crap? Do you see a 60 Monk with fist weapon in this game? Do you see any barbarian belt worth anything? Do you see any 60 Barbarian with specific weapons? NO!
c. Have even though how you balance 1h and offhand for WD and Wizz in order not see Wizz with crossbow, or WD with god know what weapon??? You cannot be efficient with WD and Wizz with class specific weapons after pretty much lvl 55. OMG!
d. Randomization don't mean put 100 variables regardless if make sense for the class type item or not, from where to chose when creating the drop.
5. Environment randomization - another lie. There a few variation. A1 to A3 I seen them ALL. NO randomization!!! Having a few layouts that appear randomly is NOT randomization!!! Randomization will be when each time I go somewhere to have no idea how actually looks!
6. Events - another dust in the eye! How many events are in total in this game? 10? Maybe! C'mon! Make 10 in Normal, 15 in NM, 20 in Hell and 30 in Inferno with special boss, packs even rewards. Bring special monsters randomly in the world (maybe 2-3 per Act, never knowing where it spawn and what will do). Remember "Diablo walk on earth?" Did you learn anything???
7. Purple world monsters are just crap. Never drop anything good. At least to reset the timer of NV! Sometimes we loose good amount of time for a crappy monster like this risking to lose the NV because of it! I understand that is not count as special (god knows why), but at least to reset the timer of NV. Same with quest bosses (e.g. Siegebreaker, King, etc). Is just stupid that you play, kill king, got grab a bite or have a smoke, and when you come back, after repair/sell etc, NV is gone coz King did not reset it to 30 min!
8 Items: Dear blizz, please be so kind and contact me in game! I will be glad to equip a character of you choice with all ilvl 611 req lvl 60 to equip, and show me how you pass in Act 2 Inferno! Crossbow with 130 base damage!!! Axe with 201 base damage!! Fist weapon with 154 base damage! Shield with 800 base defence and 14% chance to block, Should I say that all have crappy adds? I mean, really crappy! I guess soon I will be forced to beg the merchant to buy these items!!! What I like to say is that there is no sense of progression! There are any items that faster or slower brings you to lvl 60 in Inferno. Then are ilvl 63 that MIGHT be good enough!
I will not start now telling you about min 70% of all existing skills (with or w/o runes and passive) are simply ineffective or stupid (pointless is too soft). DM w/o passive for doge, Monk/barbar w/o block when dual welding! BTW, the doge change for Monk is such a big crap! I guess in inferno all elites have Ignore Armour defense and 95% change to hit! And considering that a 50k is one hit kill.. I calculate, based on details provided in game: DH receive 1hit of 120k damage! Monk received 1hit kill of 134k damage. Barb received 128k !!! WTF? 3000 dex and dodge 2 out of 10, considering that 95% is 1hit is kill!! Simply stupid!

How in the name of god works these walls?? I understand the pack boss with it but horde with molter and wall? NO CHANCE! C'mon. I was killed until I've become red because the mobs were ranged, so didn't come to me, all 4 put walls incredibly fast and I was always "jailed" in walls and hit by mortar or their ranged! Dudes, you suffer of randomization! Is good but please, use your brain! Some combinations should not be there! All jailers with molten and arcane! :) A stupid joke!
There are so many other bits and pieces that, chances a nice experience to a crappy one!
I'm in a group of 9 friends and we will stick around a bit more, but seriously we think that D3 ended the Cain Legacy in a total disappointment! Cain id turning in his grave seeing how greed changes the world and how stupidity rules and ruin everything!

I agree with point 4 of u, they increased reflect damage and can be a bit too annoying on certain elites.
Also, i dunno if its intentional, and you noticed, but im almost sure they increased the cast of Nightmare in inferno, after the patch. It happened that last night i was ball bounced between 4 range elite champs with Nightmare affix, with barely any time left to dps them , almost at all. It was just passing half a second of dps, while i was chained nightmared again (read it FEAR). Its ridiculous for a melee class. And im pretty sure it was an increase cast, cause wasnt like this before patch. Ok, range mobs move a bit less, but they spamm nightmare more often... same !@#$.
5 stacks of NV guarantee you 1 rare and really high chance for more than 1 (never got none when I`m full stack).
Maybe you did not realize the chance to drop ilvl63 is 2%, that does not mean it guarantee you out of 50 rares you get 1 ilvl63, even if it have 99% drop chance there is still 1% that won't drop for you. (suggestion: Do not skip school)
I think you did not fully understand the Magic Find yet. It works like this :
Having MF increase the quality of drop, instead of ilvl60 white, you get ilvl 60 blue, and with higher MF instead of blue it may becomes rare. Magic Find does not increase the ilvl of the item.
The reflect damage may reminds you to put some def instead of pure glass canon? I mean, think about it, while other melee classes grind their !@# to get decent defensive stats and decent damage, you go for pure damage... Well blizzard wants some balance in there. You may go for pure damage but please put some life on hit, life steal in it maybe? Why don't you try all possibility before going on forum and whine about your brain did not work properly and people on forum did not show you the build with life steal.
The fact you give about Motar is completely bull$%^-, a lot of players able to deal with it, world won't go around to keep minority like you happy DWI dude.
What is your problem at point 6 and the problem about 1.0.3? Can no longer kill monsters before they reach you? Oh wow.
The AH that you complaining about stupid prices, do you understand what Auction House mean? People sell items at their price, because these items are theirs maybe? And blizzard cannot do any thing about it and shouldn't be able to do anything about it, because that is how marketing works, before 700 dps weapon worth a milion, now it's pretty much free because everybody can have their hands on these items. Won't you do the same? Having a very nice combination of properties item, and sell it for skyrocket price? or you will give it for pretty much free price? Same about RMAH, blizzard does not earn *!@# about your item that is sold for 250EU but only 1EU, in fact Blizzard would be happier if you sell 10 5EU items than having you sell 1 250EU item. They shouldn't even put the 250 cap, but they realized it would have gone too far without it so they did put cap in so cheap bastards like you won't be so much around.
Sometimes I too think that blizzard should put 1 or 2 more criteria but when I have time to think over it again, 3 is good enough. Imagine you can have like 5 criteria, you put all the needed stats on it, first of all these stats are majority for the class, so prices won't satisfy you much(cos your post give me information how big of cheap $%^ you are), and it would be like all wizards have int, res,crit%, crit dmg, IAS on their gloves and on for others items (copy paste much?), on top of that you may miss some okay okay items w/o one or two majority stats.
You probably haven't played D2 but you played D2 LOD, you should not talk about the legendary items if the fact is true.
If you think ign environment are the same every time you create a game, then blizzard have succeed.

Protego, how many classes are at lvl 60? How many test have you done? You better open you moth, no, no... start writing when you actually know.
Tested in so many different ways, all classes that even Blizz didn't think of it! Actually this is normal as they prove that barely thing deep to anything but their pockets.
Show me the DH that can do A4 or resist more than 1hit in inferno. Same for WD and Wizz (w/o armor skill). Show me to these classes the real protection passive skill (and don't come with increase armor coz that's absolutely crap, as soon as with ilvl 60 but max vita, dex, str, rez is pretty much the same with ilvl 63 with just higher base def for monk).
Patch 1.0.3 did not balanced the game-play. The only thing that did is a bit better as group. But the rest is nothing!
I kindly invite a Blizz member to play with my characters! I kindly invite them for A3 and A4 50 hell runs and 50 A1 and to equip ONLY what's from drop!
It's absolutely stupid having ilvl 60 and 61 with base damage of 150-200!! Don't tell me the crap with MF gives the quality! When I was doing million runs of MF in Diablo you most probably didn't know where you ears are located! I normally have, depending of the class I play, with 5 NV between 210 and 285 (didn't tried more).
I had 24 trials with DH A3 Q1 (41k life, 80k dmg), I could never finished the quest as the repair from too many deaths wont worth it (1hit kill, even from some normal mobs). 10 trials with Monk, did it 2 times to A4, the other 8 was no way killing some elite packs. Barb 1 time reached I was close to reach the bridge A3 from 10 trials. Wiz almost light 3 from 8 trials. WD didn't even tried A3 as I still have to feel comfortable in A2.
I NEVER kite mobs and I NEVER do boss runs. I always like to clear all (pretty much all). So... just don't comment if you just brag with something you don't have, know or understand! Thank you!
NB: With the direction they are going with the classes we will never see a PvP. And if it will be one it will be something just to be there but not actually viable! Typical!
