Dude I killed him 6 times already I can do it again. And even if so would be you just skip ahead to Part 4 Act 1. Anyway I do agree with these guys, how do we know the process is done? If you didn't know, when you buy a game you are usually kinda excited to get started. Playing Act 1 and get slapped in the face with a system message like that is hardly getting started.

Yea....72 hours. Right....
Unless the first 48 hours are on a Thursday & Friday. Because then day number 3 lands on a !@#$ing Saturday, + Sunday wich aren't known as bank days. So your precious %^-*ing 72 hours became 5 days! Paying 59 Euro and put you on hold for 5 days before you can actually use what you purchased. Screw you....you're jeoperdising my decision to purchase your next expansion of Diablo. You call it safety reasons. Oh I am so sorry you got trust issues for your customers. Come up with a !@#$ing smoother solution or atleast give people a heads-up before they use PayPal you %^-*ing douchebags. |

changing password didn`t work for me

Did anyone from Blizzard every respond to this? I brought the game through digital download and it now lets me go to the auction house and does not display that i have the starter edition anymore but does not let me go past the skeleton king. I tried changing my password and that does not work.

Hello, Changing my pw does nothing, still cant play past act 1 |

In my opinion it is wrong that they did not warn us about these restrictions before we purchased. Of course, it would have meant that I would not have purchased the game.
I spent ages wondering what had happened. We should not have to dig around the helpfiles to find out why a game does not work in the way that we would expect. I am still not sure this is the problem as there is no indication this is the reason for my issue. And the information on how we will know when we will be 'allowed' to proceed with the game we have paid for is not forthcoming. How will we know? This is an important question. |

Not a single crew member have answered to this or any other issue posted in this section. Funny they call it "Technical Support". Blizzard is a !@#$ing joke.
They say the forum is rarely manned. Good, Blizzard GO !@#$ YOURSELVES YOU ARROGANT SONS OF %^-*!ES. I remember this next time Blizzard release a game.

I agree with everything you say, we shouldn't have to go through the forum to know what the problem is, I unlocked the quest by changing my password earlier, but for some this doesn't work and I was not notified my account was unlocked. Blizzard really need to get their customer service sorted, this is simply not good enough. |

so i paid £45 (the most i ever paid for a game) and all I got was a demo? upgrade? give me the game I paid for, or give me my money back you scammers. Nowhere did you say I would not have access to the game proper until a 72 hour delay. You did say I could not use RMAH for a 72 hr delay, you should have mentioned there that the game is not truly functional. I feel you mis-sold me a simple demo for £45. I have no way of knowing that my game will even be playable after a 72hr wait. You are just trying to rob me of my cooling off period so I cannot claim my money back. I am going to report you to trading standards.

This is really sad. Read sticky, look thru forums, you will see that someone fixed this issue only by changing his acc password. For someone this wont work and then they will submit ticket and wait.

In terms of my consumer rights I am not expected to sift through forums to find information about a product that contradicts the official advertising. I do read all the EULA and TOS documentation, and it didn't mention this 72hr restriction on the full version of the game anywhere in there. BTW the installation times-out while you read the EULAs of which I recall over 3 of them needed reading. There is no way anyone who is not a legal speed reader could read through those in one go before the timeout, showing that Blizzard intend for you to simply scroll to the bottom and click accept without really reading them. Shame on you Blizzard.
Where they are aware of the "unforeseen side effect" of their anti fraud policy making those who bought the game digitally after the patch unable to proceed beyond level 13 (or past killing the skeleton king), they should put a warning on the page before you buy the game. They know about this problem, I as a consumer don't. |

Same issue.
I just purchased the game, downloaded it and started playing it. After killing Skeleton King it said something about upgrading. And now I have to wait for how long I have no idea. For whatever reason they are doing this, this is BS, in fact this is BlizS.
