Okay, I love the Amazon in diablo 2 I think many of us did.
Spamming strafe and multishot against our enemies in that chaos. As you all know, we have both strafe and multishot - but lets face it. They bloody suck. The spells are freakishly cool. I mean - who doesnt LOVE to spam arrows all over the screen? I can't be the only one to notice that no one use those spells? All DHs run with that glasscannon build or w/e new build is the cokkie cutter since the patch. The reason? They simply suck. 1. Too high hatred cost. Even with the low hatred cost rune on multi shot you can spam it what ? 5-6 times? Then you're back to spamming bloody bola shot, hungering arrow or w/e. Same with strafe. 2. Too low damage. In hell with decent gear, sure you can smack some good with them spells indeed. But in inferno you will stand there and die. I thought blizzard wanted this rune system and all to be some kind of your own decision, with your own preferences, what spell you wanted to use. But when some spells simply just can't cut it, you will have to choose other ones. Either lower the hatred cost so it actually can be spammed. OR buff the damage so that it can actually deal som damage for the short while you're using it. IAS The IAS nerf... seriously? I surely agree the IAS needed a nerf, but 50%? I didnt even have a lot of ias, only on weapon, ring and quiver. Im down to 1,56APS and it feels like I've been let down. IAS makes the game FUN playing. Spamming til doom and the enemies die. (Give me knockback on the weapon like a killer windforce.. :D ) With the current ias nerf, you instead force us to have ias on every single item in order to have fun / deal great damage. Again, I thought you wanted us to have a choice. I mean sure, the damage did need a total nerf - but was IAS really the right way to go with it? Just lower the damage on the spells instead and let us spam. Spamming is fun. You all know it. Werent we all satisfied in d2 when we hit that 200fcr BP on sorc, the ias BP on barb, smiter, bowzon, WW-assa? Speed IS fun. And a quick paced game like diablo - 1,56APS? I do not complain about my damage being lowered, because the dmg is only numbers. Yes, the damage is lower but I still rape easier than before. Because the nerf on monsters was bigger.

Blizzard is constantly dealing with any way of getting your character too powerful or making the farming too easy. You just can't progress into stage, where you can just do something too easily. And it's not just the D3. It's good on one hand, on the other hand, I do understand it takes fun a bit out of feeling like you have a superpowers :)

The ias totally makes me feel like I have superpowers - even if I don't. :) I never had great damage, think my top was 84K (WITH sharpshooter maxed). I constantly died in act 3, because my gear simply didnt cut it. NOW - I can go act 3 with my friends. Because it IS easier. But it's less fun when I can't spam like I used to, nevertheless what damage I had before. That's the reason I ask - was IAS nerf really the right way to go? My friend playing wizard says the exact same thing, he doesnt care about his damage being lowered, the IAS itself was the fun part! And I know it's hard for blizzard to satisfy everyone, but with this HUGE ias nerf I think they actually dissatisfied (is that a word? Sorry, bad English) many of us. |

the high cost on ms and strafe can be partially compensated by getting skills with extra hatred regen. but what is rly screwd up with rapid fire and strafe is that the hatred cost INCREASES with ur attacks per second. the tooltip says hatred cost 15 (or 10 for rapid fire) but what it rly means is if u have 2 attacks per second, the skill costs u 30 hatred, per second. and then ofc blizz comes with the statistics that strafe is the least used dh skill like it is some kind of surprise =D

So - you do agree? They need either damage boosted or lower hatred cost?
I used strafe alot in the beginning of day one. It looks f**king badass. But then I realized it sucked. Play with NT they said, it will be fun they said. |

I was actually thinking of leveling another DH just for the fun of it on lower levels when you can put all those fun dmg abilities on every button :)

i was playing with strafe/rocket storm in inferno, but ofc blizzard in their infinite wisdom decided to import silly features from wow into diablo3 (aka enrage timer), so had to swapp strafe for something that did you kno... damage instead
wont be surprised if the skill gets buffed in 1.10 tho NT wont be missed by me, although i did have a few laughs when i ran a bit with a gloom/NT facetank spec, standing in the doorway going "THIS IS... SPARTA", only to see 3x frost bombs under my feet about to explode =D |

It's a blast until you begin to constantly die. But through normal and nightmare (possibly hell) you WILL have fun :) i was playing with strafe/rocket storm in inferno, but ofc blizzard in their infinite wisdom decided to import silly features from wow into diablo3 (aka enrage timer), so had to swapp strafe for something that did you kno... damage instead "Didnt care for it, too much pain!" Anyway, I couldnt care less about the NT nerf etc either. I just want to have fun :)
