You come back into town after Diablo goes to heaven, and they're suddenly dead?
Huh? This is the kind of plot hole that you usually see in a movie when someone in the editing studio screwed up and cut out something necessary, but we can't blame the editing guys today. Or can we? Any ideas what Blizzard intended? ps Copied from the US forums, where i found no answer. |

They're not dead. They're just sleeping.
Because they're going to wait for quite some time before you get to kill D. |

They died after the keep was saved and the onslaught had stopped.
In other words, they died of boredom. |
