I cant belive you guys killed Deckard Cain!
He is like the essence of Diablo... I will never forget the words
he spoke in Diablo 1 when I was a young boy... Stay a while and listen.
I've lost all respect for blizzard after this.

Bout time the old fart popped his clogs.

Sure, it was ok that they killed him. Was kinda expected and in time.

But.. Why did they kill him off with Maghda!? D:

He deserved to die in a more epic way and by a less irritating, more threatening enemy.

Characters die in all forms of media, famous ones, popular ones, disliked ones you just have to accept it when it happens, I mean it isn't like a popular character having a lame death is exclusive to diablo 3.

I don't mind that he died, i think it was a good touch to the story.
And, he would've died 2 weeks later by natural causes if Maghda didn't do it.

Relax I think someone will just resurrect him, he still has a card to play (I think)

I do hope so. It would be a good laugh to see Cain come back and apprehend Adria. <creaky old man voice> "Not so fast, witch! Submit yourself! (or I shall commence a 16-hour monologue about the lost Horadric scrolls)"

I hated to see him die.....but when you think about how many ghosts roam the worlds of the Diablo series, I get the feeling we will hear from Cain again someday, even if it is only his ghost! Hehe, yeah, a quest, Adria killed me in cold blood and I cannot rest until justice is done...something like that!

What disappointed me was that he never said "stay a while and listen".
