Great improvement. Leveling is fun again, almost level 60. I really love that the elites and normal monsters are much more balanced, plus I am getting gear that would be good for me, if I did not use the AH :O

The time to reach the upper Paragon levels approximates the long-term time investment required to get a level 99 character in Diablo II.

Have you even played D2 ??? Reaching 99 was far more fast than this. Btw this is a good change, even if your comparison is not realistic. If liked to play a "stupid game" with a fixed and easy to reach lever i would restart to play guild wars. But i like leveling! and... magic finding

Paragon:

I bought D3 cause i liked D2 and the philosophy behind that, so changing the mf system betray my expectation. No sense at all in giving the MF a Cap, Mf is a game in the game, is not a mere statistic as you intended, is a way of playing, and you first nerfed the use of this stat lowering the droprate of bosses at a ridicolous level , and now you have the brilliant idea to put a maximum CAP, that's stupid let me tell you. I dont have milionare equip so no mony loss...but that's really a no "Diablo-like"

My 2 cent? Lower the MF/GF Bonus to 1 , remove the cap, make some good magic find legendaries items. In D2 there was a difference between beeing super effective with PVM items, or beeing quite effective with MF items, the actual player inefficency is your invention, that's the only goal to be more "Diablo" and less "a Game" ...

Cool that the patch came before the weekend, thanks guys! :-)

Strange that by reading the description it sounded like they buffed the characters and nerfed the monsters, so I was expecting the game to feel easier, yet I'm dying a lot more often after the patch. And the gear dropped was worse as well. I hope it will get better after I start gaining paragon levels...

Too bad servers are not.

(I mean, thanks for the updates/letting us know in advance /sarcasm)

edit: agree step in the right direction, keep it up (babysteps though! don't overdo/buff/nerf things etc)

Played with new patch last night, and i like it so far, feels fun to play again. Did find alot of more usefull drops. (Still haven´t found ONE single thing i can use myself (after lvl 10 or so) or ONE Legendary/Set-item after roughly 200 hours of playing.)

This is a step in the right direction though! And i hope i will start to find stuff i can use and other nice items too soon, because for me, that is a BIG factor in the Diablo-series.

Good to see you listen to the community, and are working to improve the game aswell.

Will give D3 one more chance before i give up on it. :)

And yeah, the servers are down for me aswell...

i like it! BUT. i was hoping that the paragonlevel would give more freedom to choose attributes you want to strengthen.

It said it would gain benefits similar to a normal level, actually, as far as I've seen, it's identical in all ways thus far, 1 to non-primary stats, 2 to vitality, and 3 to primary stat, I don't know if it affects HP per vitality yet, though I can imagine that being a gamebreaker if it would be, imagine 500k HP at paragon level 100... while it would take at the very least a month to get to level 60(100) probably.

Overall, i think they've done great changes to the wizard, if what is stated in the Known Issues: Hydra doesn't heal HP from life on hit. Hydra would very well be much more efficient to use, even though the coefficient probably will be low. I like that i have so many alternatives right now when it comes to spells, Ice armor went from Crap to Awesome with the upgraded armor bonus rune and clarified tooltip on coldblooded. I do find it interesting how they kept "a low power Wave of Force" on Teleport - Calamity when it does more damage than the empowered rune on the actual spell now :P

At last, I ' m having some fun!
I liked the new Demon Hunter very much.
Still it would be better if getting Paragon levels wasn't that difficult.
