Diablo® III

Kripparrian perma' banned from GW2.

Serve him right. exploiting= exploiting and it's worse to do it while 5k viewers are watching.

Anet is doing what they always been doing ( @GW1 ) being hard and not tolerant towards bots/exploiters/...

What does "kripparian" mean ?

Not sure if trolling or serious.. but Kripparrian is well-known gamer/streamer/video maker who plays WoW, D3 and GW2 (well, used to lol)

No, he's not. His stream has like 5000 people at most. Compared to other gaming streams or even Let's Plays that is a tiny amount of people.

Also, to put things into perspective: There was an exploit that allowed him to convert Karma into Gold almost at will at rate that was way out of whack and obviously an oversight. He showed this exploit to the people on his stream, making it spread like wildfire. After he got a 72h probation he whined about it, threatened ArenaNet and consequently was perma banned.

This isn't even unusual. ANet have always run a tight operation and do not tolerate botting or exploiting.

I do.

If you watch the video you will see how utterly ridiculous the ban was.

THOUSANDS of other people have been banned because of programming errors made by the devs.. Wich they call "exploits"

ArenaNet are a disgrace to gaming.

It was an "exploit" /facepalm.

Arena Net made a mistake and people "exploited" that mistake. The mistake threatens the economy of the game. The people who went crazy and bought hundreds and thousands of the item took advantage of a mistake. They should of been reporting it not exploiting it, those who exploited it too far were perma banned. Everyone who went crazy with it knew they were exploiting an oversight or people wouldn't have been buying them in crazy numbers.

It was Arena Nets fault but it was also the players fault for exploiting that mistake.

All the people saying it's bang out of order are people mad salty they got caught red handed.

Actually 5k viewers for a game stream is pretty damn good, not too many regularly get that many viewers in any game. A few SC2 and LoL streamers get a fair few more than 5k, but not too many.

He's also already playing again, if that hasn't been mentioned yet.

kind unfair ban for a game bug

You'd think he'd use the money to buy a t-shirt that isn't ripped rather then a second GW2 account.

Is arenenet and ncsoft run by a bunch of immature kids? They released their game with loads of issues in it, and anyone who stumbles on these issues gets banned? So glad I didn't pay money for that game.

This guy bores me to death to be honest...

I tried watching a few of his videos during his moments of fame about 2 months ago, but he wasn't subscribe worthy... he is just too boring...

He's not really a video person, he is a streamer who just happens to upload videos.

I love how you think he was only "known" during his D3 days. How cute of you. newfag, this guy has been pro gaming and breaking world firsts for several years.

Hey there,

First of all, I never said he was only known during his D3 days, I said he had his moments of fame. And to me, personally, he's not appealing for following at all - whether on video uploads or via stream.

Second, thank you for your kind insult, you show a lot of manners and this says a lot about you.

How is Guild Wars fail for Anet banning exploiters?

Better than Blizzard letting exploiters / botters smash vases and goblins so they can flood the auction house and ruin the economy.

The exploit is and idiocy by their development/test team , not made up by players .......

See it this way - WIZARD ARMOR OP skill in early D3 ....

Those were the players that made it thru RETARDERNO back in 1.0.....( b4 "nerfs" and so on) ...
And those people made others believe it was beatable

If it werent for them , 90% of the playerbase woulda been stuck in HELL A4 till now ....

Any exploit is due to an oversight from the development team.

They can be obvious like in GW2 and Force Armor in D3

And not so obvious like the immortal wizard glitch and the barb cut scene glitch.

I think kripparian has the sweet aura of a gentleman geek. Watched him a little one night and i can see why people watch him. Streamers don´t need to be anything special or do anything special, as long as they have a cool attitude. I watch Destiny every day and lately he doesn´t even talk much or joke around, but he still has this intensity around him.

PS: Many users of PS3 don't know, but if you'r on latest Firmware you have actually agreed that you won't sue Sony, yes, you did agree on that, cuz you didnt read the rules, i'm just waiting for Blizzard to come up with something like this :)

So glad that means NOTHING if you are in Norway. Bought in Norway - Norwegian rules... And our laws protects the buyer, not the big corporations. So, ToS is out the window really. :)
