Diablo® III

Hi. I want to read a fantasy book/series that resembles the Diablo lore, dark and evil. If you know, please recommend me something that fit this description. Thanks!

There are actual Diablo books out there.

But i can reccomend Anything by The Dark Library

Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000

Specifically the Gotrek and Felix novels And the Gaunts Ghosts novels.
If Dungeons and Dragons are more your style then try R.A Salvatore. Excellent author.

Warhammer is Blizzards main source of "ideas" anyway, so yea.

I had similar urge for Diablo-esque stories a few years back after playing Diablo I again. The real problem trying to look up 'Gothic Fantasy Horror' that would seem pretty specific is you end up with a lot of urban-vampire books. However the other posters mentioning Warhammer are not to be taken lightly, I highly recommend tracking down a copy 'Palace of the Plague Lord' above all else ( it uses one of the old 1980's rule book paintings as a cover to give an indication of how old school it is ) and after that perhaps 'Blood for the Blood God' and the 'Brunner the Bounty Hunter' Omnibus by all by C.L Werner. They focus on smaller character based groups, the plots are pretty simple but they are rich with a dark, damp, doom-leaden atmosphere and abhorrent monsters and adversaries. Also if you don't mind comics the graphic novel of 'Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer' is a good-un, it has a sort of grim nordic flavour

You could have a look at the Sin War books too. These are considered cannon in the Diablo universe afaik. And it's a good read!
