Diablo® III

When blizzard recently announce they were gonna "hotfix" the MPL monster damage, i thought it would be fun to play around with some dps builds.

I found the "thought to be best dps builds" for barbs, and had a look how much i could squeeze out of them.

Here is my results :)

Diablo 3 DPS build: My 2662k dps damage output throw barb @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxiqla9BVJ0

Azmodan kill time = 52 seconds (monster power level 10)
Measured from the first hit (31sec) and until he was dead (1min and 23 sec)

Azmodan had 138425408 health points:

138425408/52= ~ 2662027/1000= ~2662k dps

I also did a compare with a close to perfect Skorn and a witching hour belt on the standard HotA build*, and came very close to beating the throw build. (i think this build would outdps the throw build if i had more IAS)

I wish blizzard would give us more MPL levels to play with, instead they are nerfing the endgame unneeded.

I like your build. Something definitely different from the usual WW build!

Dont worry, barbs get nerfed in next patch or after that. Then mp10 is more than fine for you.

Nice to see that 2H HotA can sustain Thrive of Chaos during a whole boss fight. 1.26 attacks/s arent that much.

The 2000K+ is actual inflicted damage - not character sheet dps. Compare that to effect of endless meteor spam, improved archron with its beam through everything etc.

That's a really nice build! It is funny to see how quickly your health builds back up with 1.5m crits! That is what a top barb should be like. I really hope that this does not lead to a nerf.

On a much more important point 1.2B gold good effort old boy!

char DPS is only for normal weapon damage + any bonuses from skills like extra crit ias and damage %

i would love to see even more advanced tolltips or some sort of skills details tab wit min max damage min max crit damage and dps for all 6 skills

Just a thought on this build Detox. I use overpower crushing advance instead of war cry impunity.

If you have decent allres & ok armour, then you could switch this in for 35% damage reflect, with the hota build above its off cooldown nearly every 4 secs, so its practically perma. covers the same mitigation as warcry + speeds up the kill.

Some ppl have been asking me to post a video of me farming with this build.

But this spec is especially designed for singel target dps, and wouldn't do so good in farming.

So i thought i could post a vid of the build iam normally using when iam farming.

So the recipe for perma WotB barb throw barb is:

1: Get me melee class character
2: Use a ranged build
3: Played as a melee character
4: Who say goblins @ MPL 10 is hard to kill ? xD

I expect perma-WotB to be nerfed every patch and it never is. It's so wildly overpowered that I can't believe Blizzard keeps it in the game. Good for us who use it, I guess.

Hello, could I possibly get a few pointers? I love the concept of this build But, I can not stay alive. Idk what I'm missing in order to stay alive. I'm not trying to do Mp10 or anything like that but, even on mp5 I die using this build. Any pointers? Thanks
