ERROR #134 (0x85100086) Fatal condition!

Technical Support
After an absence from WoW I have come back and installed it, with a view to getting up to speed before MoP releases.

Unfortunately I'm having trouble getting past the launcher screen. When I hit Play I immediately get the above error followed by stack/memory dumps (see below).

My OS is Windows 8 (the RTM version not the CTP version) and apart from new SSD's it's the same hardware I was running with previously.

I have tried using the 64-bit client and that still doesn't work.

I'm running the launcher and the Wow.exe in administrator mode. I have also tried it under various different compatibility modes.

I've switched off Windows Defender and the Firewall but this makes no difference.

I've run a repair various times and deleted the files Wow.mfil and Wow.tfil, all to no avail.

My graphics drivers are up to date windows 8 drivers from amd.

Any ideas of what I can try next?

Occasionally I get ERROR #131 instead of #134. I've included the description of error 131 below but not the full stack trace as this error occurs less frequently.

I recently had this same error, it turned out for me that is was some faulty memory, having fixed that its fine now, but I do believe it is cause by corrupted files aswell, I won't give any advice since I'm not into all this technical stuff ;P but hopefully a blue or Doomsinger will be along soon enough to help ya out =)
I hope it's not the faulty memory because my motherboard is fairly old so I doubt I'd find the memory - and I can't justify a new motherboard, cpu and memory to play a game when it's the only thing on my PC that's crashing.
I've got a nasty 134 on my back as well. Bumping this in hope of assistance.
Seems to be working for me now. I haven't changed anything on my PC (I haven't even turned it off since last night) and it was suddenly working this afternoon after I got back from work.
Sorry for being horribly late.

Let me know if you get another error. Cheers.
For 64-bit users:

I had the same #134 error. My solution:

Go to your WOW-program folder eg. C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft
In the root menu you should find wow-64.exe
Run the file as administrator. (right-click and choose this option)

Done :)
Hope this helps!
