Timeless Isle Flying?

General
Post Limit:
Can anyone confirm if we will be able to fly on the timeless isle or will it be like Throne of Thunder?
Since the sun never sets at the Timeless Isle, the flying mounts have forgotten the abilitiy to fly or something similar. :)

Best explaination ever :)

Anyway, no. Ground mounts only.

Flying Machine. Engineering has solutions to all things!
But yeah, you can't fly on the isle. Would make the 'legendary' world boss supposively too easy to reach or something.
Flying is for lazy people who have to rush everything.
Considering that we are talking about the Timeless Isle, time is of no consequence, and so is flying.
Oh great, another new area pointlessly void of flying. This was the main reason so many people gave up on the 5.3 islands so quickly (as in, the second you hit exalted)..
I guess this is another of Blizzard's twisted ideas of making the game "fun". Because it's so much fun to see everyone drag giant mob trains all over the islands, because it's the only way to travel without taking 12 hours per quest.

Hopefully they will reverse this decision and enable flying, if they expect people to spend months on this content until the next expansion comes. Otherwise they will most likely see a sudden drop in subscriptions a month after the patch.

What as opposed to the sudden drop in players because, due to Flying, they have completed everything very quickly and are now bored of the game and are back to Cata times...ie Sitting in Org/Sw complaining there is nothing to do?

The most pointless thing ever, was to add flying mounts in Azeroth & Kalimdor, killed so many fun stuffs.

QFT

Maybe you can use some cool ground mounts while you guys are there, because if you dont PvP you rarely see em

Flying lets you finish raids more easily?

Flying lets you clear challenge modes on gold?

Flying gets you 3k bg rating?

Flying gets you a top arena ranking?

Flying lets you level faster when content is balanced around people having flying?

Or are you merely just another joke of a whiner justifying your crying by any means neccessary?
No need for flying. Ground mounts get you around just fine. Unless they put in content only reachable on a flying mount then there is no real need for them to enable flying there.

I know a lot of players don't like having to think about where they are going whilst questing and happily just run straight to the little marker on their map without worrying about the mobs around them, but the adds add an additional challenge to the game and require you to actually think about what you are doing instead of just going into auto pilot and completely ignoring the dangers around you.
What's the point of flying when there is so much good stuff happening on the ground? Apart from flying over people and getting to hard to reach places, but the fun of exploration is putting effort into getting somewhere.

Flying allows you to travel faster....

How much quicker is it to fly over mobs than to actually fight them?

Quicker way to get your objectives done, more time sitting on your !@#$ in Org/Sw.

You work it out.

What a totally ridiculous post.

Seems if you can't see that flying is a benefit then you sir/madam are the joke.

You fly over raid mobs?

You fly over challenge mode bosses?

You fly in arenas?

You fly in bgs?

No, you fly over areas you did with a ground mount when you leveled there.

Flying saves you travelling time. It removes a time sink, nothing more. Well, it might remove some ganking on raid entrances on pvp servers, if you consider that "content".

And I can imagine they would like to keep time sinks like that in the game. They are not major time sinks, not by a long shot, but they do add longevity and more challenge to content.
