I started playing the campaign but I got frustrated with the horrible performance I was getting system wise, so I jumped to multiplayer which is more playable.

The campaign... duh. Oh, actually the first thing I focused on was changing a lot of things in the options menu. I don't know what system blizz uses but it sucks at detecting the true performance of computers....

I'm not old enough to remember SC 1, but after paying attention to the storyline under the installation, i really wanted to "learn" more, and i wanted to know how the story progressed. So the campaign was the first thing i played. But when i had played it all the way through, there nothing more to do, so i turned to the multiplayer, and i have now ranked up alot more hours playing against other players, then i have playing the campaign. My opinion is that the campaign has little replay value, unless your're achievement hunter, but there are soooo much stuff to do in the multiplayer, in forms of tactics and custom games

I took a peek at the art-book before starting the game. That's when I saw the picture where Kerrigan was saved(!) from infestation by Raynor. To tell you the truth, I was a bit disappointed about the end of the game. The character 'Queen of the Blades' is the most attracting element of Starcraft for me, I wasn't expecting her and the zerg force (which was told to be mutating, becoming 'much, much more') fell to Raynor's force in the battlefield.

Graphics, sound, music, I mean the whole gaming experience was really great though. In the end, I found myself clapping when the credits started to appear. (:

I am looking forward to 'The Heart of the Swarm'. Hope you guys don't keep us waiting too long. I need to see some zerg action!

I've spent most of my time on the campaign, but also had a few multiplayer matches. I'll definitely be 100% completing the campaign achievements before I get stuck into multiplayer completely, though. Really enjoying the story so far. Really polished game, didn't expect any less from Blizzard. :)

Damn game is simply awesome but ending sucks big time. Out of blue they start to fight with (BEEP) that they don't know how to use and then they... well I won't spoil but I hate how this chapter have ended. Now everything starts to be about salvation, naive heroism etc. Damn it, this is Starcraft, not some crapy fairytale! Age 16 afterall. I believe that in future there won't be any more weak spots in story.

Another thing that I want to thank you for is any european language I wish game download. I appreciate that you are now openly supporting Polish game community but for me Starcraft without original voice-acting is not the same. Thanks for over 20 years with your games. Without Starcraft 1 creepy zerg building mutations my childhood would suck.

Your faithful (and still young at heart) fan.

I would have liked to continue playing multiplayer like I did with my friends in the beta, but not all of them have the game yet and the ones that do are playing campaign. So campaign for me too it is.

I started playing the campaign. I have to say, I really like how it's built. Haven't gotten around to the multiplayer yet, and I'm really curious what units and buildings from the campaign I'll find there. Good job Blizz.

I needed to learn the changes a little so I tried the campaign, but every mission only a few units were introduced. Then at some point I realized not all of them would be available in a multiplayer game, so I went for a few single player games to get accustomed to the units. After which the placement matches and multiplayer. I really think it's all about multiplayer in this game. But taking into account the comments about the campaign I should spend some time playing it, too.

Awesome game but I think you need to make the process for creating and integrating custom maps clearer and easier me and my mates play together and so I understand that using a specific system for wider battlenet multiplayer is important in order to make sure the maps do not have issues however surely when playing more lan type games (as in the single player mode) this could be adjusted especially as it would be a good way of testing maps before publishing them to the wider community... however all in all a great game I have waited 11 years and apart from the map issue I'm very happy :)
