Coming Soon: Battle.net Balance

Coming Soon: Battle.net Balance

Soon, we’ll be introducing a new feature called Battle.net Balance that will give players an alternate way to purchase Blizzard products and services directly through their Battle.net account. Players will be able to "charge up" their Battle.net Balance using a variety of payment methods, and then use their Battle.net Balance to buy services like World of Warcraft character transfers, digital products, and more. Players will also be able to use their Battle.net Account Balance to buy items and store their earnings from Diablo III’s currency-based auction house once the game is released.

We’ll be rolling out the new Battle.net Balance feature in the weeks ahead -- but in the meantime, check out our Battle.net Balance FAQ to find out more about how it’s going to work.

I only hope that it won't bring micro-transactions to the Blizzard universe. That would be unpleasant.

Otherwise - great idea, at least I can prepare some money directly for the HoS expansion.

@DarthRado: Yeah, like Blizz saying something like "Are you feeling that zerg is too OP and mutas are a pain in the !@# to deal with? Purchase this and you'll get blink and storm automatically researched!" Of course this is all sarcasm, so don't take it seriously :D

Thats cool blizzard nice to see your looking to implement an improved battle.net server.

Bet there is no paid name change though! I would rather you just bring that in to be honest.

Its better for Blizz to keep the money in thier system, that what they can make money out of our money! Brilliant! And they make it look like they are doing us a favor aswell! :D

@ShMuPpS: You know that blizzard time to time informs important changes/updates that are coming and easily share it with the community. This same post is in SC2, D3 and in WoW forums do you have any complains and is this clear?

@ShMuPpS: they still want to impliment their map service witch would allow them to charge ppl for custom maps or let ppl sell maps to others etc.
