Free Character Name Change Coming Soon

We wanted to let everyone know that in the near future we’ll be allowing everyone a chance to change their chosen StarCraft II character name for free.

In some cases, people chose character names that don’t represent their usual multiplayer nicknames, as they were unaware of how the character names were being used. It’s important to us that everyone is represented by a name of their choosing in their multiplayer games, ladders, and on the forums and community site.

In addition, beyond this initial free name change, we’ll be launching a service similar to the one we offer for World of Warcraft which will allow additional character name changes for a fee. We'll announce more details on how the free name change and additional paid character name changes will be implemented in the near future.

Im still waiting for this! ... Microsoft (xbox support) lets players do that. EA (origin) lets the players do that. EA... this is sad.

Ok second time i post here, how hard could it be to fix the name change? have it like in WoW, u pay some money to get a name change, how hard can it be? its just annoying when u dont have this freedom to change you're name!

My friends, listen! Your name changer should still be active, let me tell you how to do it.
Go to your account summary and just click on the game that you purchased, you should see your game and some status (when you bought it, is it active etc.), AND a big button below the summary, telling you that you still have a free name change that is active.

In my opinion your taking too long to add such a small feature that we have been asking for since release. It seems to me and dont get me wrong this is just my opinion, but blizzard is going back to its old ways of give us the money and we will talk about what u want after? If im wrong which i dont "think" i am maybee start showing your customers that you are "actually" working on things instead of saying we will give you this in the near <3 years cough> future.

Just add a clan function in SC. Like they have in Heroes of newerth. where you can just make a clan Ingame. and invite people.. PROBLEM SOLVED!
