The Patch 1.5.0 Arcade Beta Has Begun!

Patch 1.5.0 beta introduces an entirely new feature to your Battle.net experience: Arcade. The Arcade offers an exciting new way for you to find and play your favorite custom games--and discover new favorites too. You’ll have the option to search for games based on categories including genre, star ratings, newness and more. Each game will feature a new Game Info page, that will provide you with information including a description and screenshots, instructions, patch notes, and even tutorials, in addition to the star ratings and reviews provided by your fellow players. The new Open Games list displays games that have players waiting, but haven’t filled up yet, to help you get games going quickly.
When you log into the beta, you’ll find the Arcade has games available to play, because the industrious and creative StarCraft II custom gaming community has already been hard at work creating, refining and posting their games on the Arcade. Now’s your chance to explore the Arcade beta to play, rate and review their contributions.
In addition to the new Arcade feature, Patch 1.5.0 also introduces a new streaming launcher that should make download, installation and patching times shorter than ever before, as well as an incredible array of editor changes and improvements.
To access the new beta test, just visit your Battle.net account management page and install the Arcade (1.5) Beta product that you’ll find in the game accounts section.Your feedback is an important part of the beta process, so after you’ve played some games and rated them and written a review or two, please visit the official forums to share feedback on your experience or report any bugs you’ve discovered on the the PTR forum.
Please note: While the beta installer is available to all players, the patch 1.5.0 Arcade Beta will only be available in the following languages: English, German, French, and Korean. The final patch release will be available in all languages as usual.

Please help us Guys.
and i cant see my archievements and all other things for my profile in arcade
I've tested the new UI and I have to say that I am not impressed. It has some nice features like the resizable chat windows and the general layout. However, I do not like the focus shift to the Arcade section.
Frankly, I played very few games on custom maps and I do not intend to change my habits. I like SC multiplayer, cooperative games and the campaign. This is why I bought the game and not for the crappy games that are mostly a waste of time.
In my opinion, Blizz should be focusing on adding new features to the multiplayer (like stats or the ability to play unranked games). I know that some of these things are under development, but they should come first. I feel that they put a lot of work in a part of the game that is not that popular. I know you want it to be, but making it bigger will not increase my interest.
Overall, the new interface seems a little too dark for my taste. It is well organized, the buttons are larger and easier to find (once you get used to the layout). But put some light on it, it seems like a shade is covering the screen. Only the buttons from the upper left corner are clearly visible.
To the other users: post some relevant comments about the changes. I only read about two or three in these pages.
and appreciate the fact you can play on normal version of SC2 while you download the beta (about 7Go):
First, I am not sure I like the new design, except for the Social window that is clearer now.
Second, I don't really like the ARCADE mode, which consist in many SC mods, that are pretty ugly (I tested 3 of them and did not like it), I would prefer Blizzard to focus on real game improvements (longer campaign, more AI possibilities etc.) !
But thanks to Blizzard to offer this Beta so that we can test it,
I need to practice it more to give you a more precise opinion...
and we want to be able to be in more than 1 chat room.
Its a step in the right direction. Battle net 2.0 still needs a lot, to be that whole "next generation" where you never wanna be offline as they said.
If you could implement efficient chatrooms, Clan support and tournament support would be nice.
I have not seen a single negative argument from all those whiners below.
What the heck do they expect to see that it won't be cheap and cartoonish.
Cry some more tooshies.
+ nothing new with chatrooms and team/clan functionality
