StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has a talented and robust mapmaking community, and every day the number of published maps hitting Battle.net continues to grow.  To better highlight some of these great creative works, we'll be featuring new player-made maps each week and placing them at the top of the custom games list in the game client for you to download and play.

The Micro Arena by Splax.
Its a micro map for up to 8 players in FFA. Good for practicing micro with all races using different unit compositions. Great tool for those wanting to improve their game, and you can do it against random people or your friends!

One of the most entertaining custom maps I played was a mix of asteroids, capture the flag and dota: Star Carnage by HelisPane
Really fun to play and i do not see enough ppl playing it ^^

Paratroops by Noidea ..thats me .. its a TPS multiplayer shooter for 4 players. Its in a beta state tough. A lot of details arent implemented, and I need some publicity and then feedback, especialy if players will experience LAG, and how big delay on control they will have. Its quite important for me, because it will decide where shall I shift my map creating focus. Thanks

Cat And Mouse 2.1 v2.18 is my fav map, followed by Cortex Roleplay. Cat And Mouse is made by Milk, and it's a tag-like game where you have to kill the cat but you must not allow the cat to kill all the mice if you are mice.
Objectives : Cat :
Kill all mice.
Dont let every cat die.

Mice :
Dont let all mice die
Kill all cats.

THE Card Game and Battlecraft are not bad but needs allot of balancing and refinement still. These are the kind of UMS we need, balanced multi player decision-making head to head action games.

Hey Guys im having a slight problem! well when i test document i dont spawn at one of the pointsive done all the player properties stuff and it still dosent work if you could email me a solution that would be awsome!!

And also I like TD like the Red circle, Blue circle and Green circle, its good for relaxing from quick matches. And outpost defence as well, its little too hard but its fun, i hate defence map where enemies has ultra big life like zerglings with 200hp, i rather see a lot of units dieing than few units surviving.

Baneling arena is reall fun, I was playing it for hours.The card game isnt that good, but someone took a reall work with making the pictures for cards.

I hope there is a fix to the slight lagg/delay in baneling arena, it's a great and fun map. But it really is annoying since you are used to the fast paced ladder games.

Any reason why Banelings Arena appears twice on the list, wasting 1 extra slot?

Tip: Don't assign high-impact tasks to an incompetent employee. They will %#*% it up.

Could you introduce a function on battle.net or on the Starcraft II website where you can browse all the maps, choose with one’s you like and then when you log in with the game it will download automatically

@Michiel: afaik there already is, just go to "create game" and press the search button. There you can search for any map that is published.

Remember though it only searches via the first letters. So if you search for TD and you are looking for Element TD it will not find it :( You will need to search for Element instead.
