Starcraft II 2012 Season 4 Has Begun
The new StarCraft II League season has arrived! At this time, Season 8 (2012 Season 3) milestones have been awarded and bonus pools and standings have been reset. Hidden skill ratings used for matchmaking and league placement have carried over from the previous season, so players who have completed placement matches in a previous season will only need to play one new placement match to kick off the new season.
Don't forget to review the changes to the official ladder and keep in mind that Grandmaster League will start next week.

it says "not ranked yet" and "no teams in placement"
huh? I can play custom maps fine but why cant I play on the ladder?
a friend of my and i have a placement 2v2 (cheese is sometimes fun) and the first weak you cant promote (if their is a ! you cant promote) but now we was after 9 games promoted to silver
With the goal of increasing transparency for ladder players, we're removing tiers from the ladder with the commencement of 2012 Season 4.
The removal of tiers from all leagues will allow players to better gauge exactly where they're at on the ladder and how far away they are from the next league.
After this change, climbing to (for example) Rank 2 Diamond will mean that you are in the top 2% of all Diamond players, and you are very close to moving into the Master League. Similarly, Rank 50 Platinum is in the top 50% in the Platinum league, and so forth.
But I don't see changes in this area....
I know it is a steady and working progress, but there have been several reports that users havent been able to get a placement for this season after several games.
Bug?
being in bronze and got 50 wins straight (almost) I faced opponents form plat/diam until few loses. THEN was promoted to appropriate league.
This game is broken and gay, the only thing I saw was all iners and ppl abusing the imba terran
