What’s New in Heart of the Swarm

Got a question, anyone knows if the pre-purchase is for just a digital copy of the game via download or do they send you a physical copy of the game? (a.k.a. the box). Were this to be just a digital one, is amazon the best option? Thanks!

@Iqus: You only get a digital copy, no physical. Amazon is one of the best places to get it yes. Although depending on how quickly you want the game/how much transfer costs u want to pay (if you don't live in UK), it may be smarter to get it at a store in your country.

If I preorder a physical copy from amazon, will I still get early beta access?

@smorris: When I ordered my copy from Amazon they were running a promotion giving away beta keys. This was before Blizz started giving them out for pre orders, so not sure if they are still doing it. Check for info on the page for an answer.

@ReaverSC: Well with all the potential implants you have and all :D You are just humanoid compared to the original form. (marines with neural re-socialization, ghosts with whatever invasive procedures they go through and general Warfield who's !@#$%^- hand is a flipping cyber-screw).

Unfortunately story was a great dissapointment in SC2 and D3 as well. I know playing these games in 30 sounds silly but isn't it a logical evolution that gamers get older, because it all started not that long ago... My point is that maybe blizzard targets 12 years old boys and for them it might be an awesome story.... For me it sucks hugely!

@mike: I agree that the story in WoL is crap. The dialouge consisted of one-liners, stacked upon each other. But as a seasoned myself, I still enjoy the story-line in Starcraft & Starcraft Broodwars. If the campaign-story does not improve in HotS (relative to the WoL-story) I wil be a very sad panda!

If this is another "gameplay, mechanics = awesome, story = bad" it's still going to be a disappointment! Seeing Raynor + Kerrigan = Love pics, doesn't give me much hope for the story! Flashy and polished cinematics, as bada55 they may be, do not compensate for weak story telling and lazy writing!

I have my huge reservations in regards to the singleplayer!

Does anyone knows if the artworks can be downloaded somewhere? I don't talk about the sketches, I mean the purple infested kerrigan picture, or when she's standing on the rock leading the swarm etc.

Simplified: Is there any new CG artworks? (like the Tychus wallpaper in WOL)
