@CsanadEndre: I doubt Jim would die. He is only charachter holding terran lore currently in this story. If Horner or Raynor would die that kinda destroys whole idea what they are doing. Wings of Libery would have those wings cut off and simply terrans would lose their cause for better tomorrow.

@NEXUS: You've raised some interesting questions, actually. And even though Zeratul's warning was that Kerrigan must live (he did not say in what form), it is a valid point to conclude that he is refering to her remaining in control of the Zerg, otherwise the zerg will come under the control of the hybrids and the Dark Voice, which makes the entire plot of WoL pointless, becaue I doubt a human Kerrigan could have had the ability to control the broods. We'll see in HoTS if the human Kerrigan was as powerful as the infested one and why she will choose to return to the infested form. But, good point!

To answer your last part when you said " raynor's always wanted to kill infested kerrigan but to save her if he can.",... now, this is a huge assumption based on the events we see in WoL but is supported by nothing in SC or BW. The love relationship between Raynor and Kerrigan never existed in the original story, this is something Blizzard added in the subsequent books, books that totally destroyed the characters we loved from the original game.

Let's read again the last words of Raynor towards Kerrigan in BW:

"It may not be tomorrow, darlin'. It may not even happen with an army at my back. But rest assured: I'm the man who's going to kill you some day. I'll be seein' you!"

No mention of the love relationship that was force fed to us after BW, no mention of him trying to save her, NO MENTION OF NOT GIVING UP ON HER or her humanity. And even Blizzars admitted to changing Raynor's mind in regards to this vow of vengeance.
And need I remind you that Raynor spend more time with Fenix than he did with Kerrigan, hence his vow for vengeance after Kerrigan's betrayal that caused the death of Fenix.

This trite love story creates only problems between the events of the original story and the lacklustre WoL!

@NEXUS: Anoobis pretty much punched it. Kerrigan as a Zerg would be under the Dark Voice's influence since the OVermind was genetically+-psi engineered to assimilate the Protoss (it then modified Kerrigan with its essence). Turning her more towards humanity would ensure her independence but would still render her able to control Zerg. If she will return to QoB then I'm afraid DV is gonna have her mind.BTW the trailer ends with her saying: "I did what I had to do." which could mean that she was either still under DV's influence (so part of Zerg was left in her) or that she just rezerged herself and the Z-virus got to her again.

@AlexOdhin: what the hell are you talking about?! in the capaign it's exactly said that the overmind successfully created a creature that could control the zerg and be free of the will of the dark voice(a.k.a. infested kerrigan).And as for you anoobis from what I understood from SC1 and BW raynor was in love with kerrigan and even if he wasn't raynor never gives up on the lives of his friends and comrades!(Anoobis if you find the wording of this reply offensive then I apologize).

@NEXUS: There was no indication in SC1 and BW, NONE, that the two were in love. This was changed later in the subsequent books and then in WoL, that's why many fans of the original game (including me) found it offensive.
Raynor spent more time with Fenix than he did with Kerrigan.
His last words to her made it clear that he wanted her dead, Kerrigan and all. In the original game there was no hint that the QoB and Kerrigan were two separate personalities, actually Kerrigan as the QoB was boasting in regards to the power she was then wielding, that's why Raynor makes the vow of revenge! This is what Raynor tells her before he makes the vow of revenge:

"He died (Fenix) because you betrayed him! How many more noble souls do you need to consume before you are satisfied? How many more people have to die before you realize what you have become?!"

The way I see it, he doesn't say: "Oh, Kerrigan, I will never give up on you, I know there is still some humanity in you, bla, bla". The human Kerrigan personality is there, but drunk with power! IT'S NOT A CASE OF SPLIT PERSONALITY AS WOL HAS US BELIEVE! Or, at least, doesn't look that way. This is again, stupid!

No matter how you put it, Raynor from the original game was a different Raynor from the one we see in WoL and this is not due to evolution of the character, this is due or better said, because of the retcons Blizzard did to the characters.
There is no natural flow to this character between the games. Because when we first see him in WoL, the way he is sulking over that stupid picture, makes us believe that he always (as it is shown in HoTS trailer and in WoL) wanted to save Kerrigan, which is not true.

IF BLIZZARD WANTED TO CHANGE RAYNOR'S MIND IN WOL, THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT THE VOW OF REVENGE, TONE DOWN THE LOVE STORY A BIT AND MAKE HIM STRUGGLE WITH THE CONFLICT WHEN HE HEARS ABOUT THE PROPHECY. SHOULD HE KILL KERRIGAN OR NOT? But this opportunity was missed because, I repeat, Raynor looks like he never gave up on Sarah (and I repeat again, he says so in HoTS trailer about not giving up on her) , hence NO CONFLICT WHAT SO EVER!

@Anoobis: well actually I believed since the BW days that infested kerrigan/human kerrigan are two different consciousnesses,but infested kerrigan has made somethings that can make this belief questionable:the biggest one was her taking revenge on mengsk for abandoning her to the zerg so on second thought I think that infested kerrigan/human kerrigan are the same consciousness but her infestation changed her personality.

@saker: Clearly you haven't payed attention to the story. One of the main complaints of the old fans (the SC fans) was that blizzard has created through other mediums (books) a love story that never existed in the original game and that right at the beginning of WoL we see him sulking like an idiot over the picture of Kerrigan.

Blizzard's explanation over this change of heart (retcon of lore) in Raynor (in between BW and WoL) was that Raynor has gone beyond the need of revenge.
They also admitted to the mistake of not showing us why Raynor changed his mind during those 4 years.

Zeratul's prophecy never changed his mind since his mind was already changed when we first see him in WoL.

So, "please don't write joke." :)

@Anoobis: One indication of Raynor having an eye for Kerrigan in SCO would be when he was pissed at Mengsk for letting her down alone. But that's arguably debatable.

@AlexOdhin: Indeed! Also, if he was really in love with her he would have at least try to go after her on Tarsonis when Mengsk ordered the fleet to retreat. As you say, the Tarsonis scene is debatable.
There is also the scene when he first meets Kerrigan, when, after reading his mind, Kerrigan calls him a pig. But, also, this hardly equated as love since it was their first meeting and guys do check up hot girls and think of dirty thoughts. LOL
There are no other sequences that revolve around Raynor and Kerrigan relationship in SC and BW aside from these two.

@NEXUS: Well, at least they've explained that, though it wasn't mentioned in SCO. Also, the film said that the two drew close, which was not true in SCO, again, a retcon.
Which proves the point, again, that the love story created more problems than it solved.
