Unable to add international friends?
|
So I want to add my friend on B.net so we can play online, however it's not working. This is a little frustrating since it's this guy that I usually play online with.
Anybody know why? I think it might be because I'm in the UK and he's in the US but for some reason b.net doesn't allow that... >.> Any help would be muchly appreciated! |

battle.net is divided into regions, the US is a separate Bnet, if you want to play with him you will need to buy a US vers, or him a EU vers

This is an issue a lot of people are facing. Sorry to see it's affecting you as well Ghost. I too can't play with my US friends. I had understood this may be the case, but I had hoped it wouldn't be the case on launch. I don't want to just post a link and ask you to add to it. However if you don't agree with the decision Blizzard has made of region locking SC2. Can you please go to this link:
http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/132033227 It's a topic I have started to try and make Blizzard aware that the SC2 community doesn't want the game to be region locked. Plus as another issue, to allow LAN play as well. You don't need to agree with every thing, if you only care that the game is region locked then post that up. Let them know why you don't agree with it. Both as a customer and as a gamer. Perhaps we can change this and we can all enjoy the SC2 as we all wanted. |

I posted in that topic. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
