Thanks for the video's. I'm a starcraft noob lol but the difficulty and competitive nature of the game is exactly what make me wanna play it and get good. Nice to have a game again where it really is about practice, building strategies, learning from mistakes and improving :D

Yea, definately gave me some insight.
Just out of interest, how come you didn't produce any vehicles in your basic build order video. What would I do if they came along with loads of flying stuff (i'm a noob, i refer to most stuff as driving or flying stuff xD) as has happened to me quite a lot quite quickly. A lot of players just get the factory out and along comes the big old robots with the desire to smash my base in. |
that banshee tutorial was horrible.. In what way if you have insight please share it. |

Yea, definately gave me some insight. These aren't my videos Mepha. They are what I found on youtube and decided to relay them here for everyone that was interested to view :) The basic build order is something that you should follow, but of course you need to scout, so you can adjust to what the other player is doing. If you can see he is making air units, then you pump out mass marines to take them out. Normally in early ladder games (and the practice league/ladder) you will hardly come across this ... apart from the Void Ray rush by Protoss players, which is countered by doing a Reaper rush, which is far quicker. You just need to make sure to scout around you base to make sure the Protoss player has placed a proxy, which 9/10 times they do. |

Ok, well. I'm am getting my ass handed to me literally every game i play.
Saying that, i am enjoying this far far more than any of the C&C games i played. The scope of it is definately to my liking. I know this might be a long shot, but is there any chance i can add you to my friends list and if sometime when you aint playing we can have a practice match or so? Or you can add me. 844. That goes to anyone. If you want an easy win or want to practice some tactics, send me a message. Thanks again. |

Um vepo there was this guy making a series of vids called noobschool you should really add a link to his channel in your post. Oh and some of totalbiscuits videos can be very useful for first timers.
Link to Sc2 noobschool: http://www.youtube.com/user/SC2NoobSchool Link to totalbiscuit(I suck at starcraft 2): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92Rv-s-7rNk&feature=channel Actually totalbiscuit's i suck at sc2 series is actually more of a comic vid than a guide but he still gives out some useful pointers and watching it wont hurt. |

Thanks for the information Denkata I'll get those looked into tomorrow as I'm about to head off to bed shortly.
I've never watched any of Totalbiscuit's SC2 casts, as his voice and personality annoys the hell out of me from listening to WoW Radio and seeing a video of him in a university/college in the United States, where he made an ass of himself (he thought he was funny) hehe, but I will indeed bite my tongue and get some of the looked over :) Also Mepha, I don't mind if you add me to your friend's list. My character code is 874! |

Meh i like his voice... He sounds like a football comentator. The vids are good because he reviews his replays quite well. He explains his and his opponents mistakes quite thoroughly making the video useful not only to terran players but to everyone.
