The official site doesn't have any page about this yet, so I have decided to open this thread. Like my other list threads, I'll keep it updated with all the new announcements.

I'll sort everything by date of release and series. If you want to read all the novels, you may think following a chronological order is the best way to go, but personally, I would read them from the time they were released in, just because there's tons of cross-references that you won't understand if you don't read previously published works.

If you like the initiative, press the "Like" button so they make it a sticky :) (edit: victory! xD).

If you don't remember the story of the original StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War, it might be a good idea to check this:

The Story So Far

The story of StarCraft II takes place in a fully-realized scifi universe full of interesting characters and unique locations, and the people and places you encounter over the course of the game all have a meaning and a purpose in the StarCraft universe. Read up on the rich history of StarCraft now!

StarCraft series

Book 1: Uprising

She is the Queen of Blades. Her name has become legend throughout the galaxy, and that legend is death for all who dare oppose the swarm. Nevertheless, Sarah Kerrigan was once human, and an extraordinary human at that. Forced to become one of the Terran Confederacy's merciless psionic assassins, she carried out her orders without question until a twist of fate propelled her toward a destiny no one could have foreseen. This is the tale of Kerrigan's shadowy origins -- and the war that was fought for her very soul.

Book 2: Liberty's Crusade

Behind the attacks of the zerg and the protoss lies the story of a lifetime, and investigative reporter Mike Liberty is determined to uncover it. But every new piece of information only deepens the mystery. Thrown into the middle of a war that may determine the fate of humanity in the Koprulu sector, Liberty reports on the escalating conflict and wonders whom he can afford to trust.

Book 3: Shadow of the Xel'Naga

Bhekar Ro is a bleak, backwater world on the fringe of the Terran Dominion, and every day is a struggle to survive for the planet's human colonists. Yet when a violent storm unearths an unfathomable alien structure, Bhekar Ro becomes the greatest prize in the Koprulu sector. Zerg, protoss, and terran forces turn the planet into a bloody battlefield in their haste to claim the lost secrets of the most powerful species the universe has ever known.

Book 4: Speed of Darkness

All Ardo Melnikov ever dreamed of was living in peace on the verdant colony of Bountiful. That dream was shattered when the zerg attacked the colony and annihilated his loved ones. Now a marine charged with defending the worlds of the Terran Confederacy, he must come to terms with the painful memories of his past...and the unsettling truths that may dominate his future.

Book 5: Queen of Blades

Former marshal-turned-rebel Jim Raynor has broken away from the power-crazed Emperor Arcturus Mengsk. Enraged over Mengsk's betrayal of the powerful telepath, Sarah Kerrigan, to the ravenous Zerg, Raynor has lost all faith in his fellow humanity.

Yet, in the aftermath of Mengsk's treachery, Raynor is plagued by strange visions of Char -- a deadly, volcanic world haunted by horrifying alien creatures. As the nightmares grow in intensity, Raynor begins to suspect that they may not be figments of his imagination -- but a desperate form of telepathic contact. Convinced that the woman he loves is still alive, Raynor launches a hasty mission to rescue Kerrigan from Char. But deep beneath the planet's smoldering surface, Raynor finds a strange chrysalis...and is forced to watch in horror as a terrible, all-too-familiar entity rises from it.

Before him stands a creature of depthless malice and vengeance...

Sarah Kerrigan: the Zerg Queen of Blades.

Book 6: I, Mengsk

Sixty-thousand light-years from Earth, the corrupt Terran Confederacy holds the Koprulu sector tightly in its tyrannical grip, controlling every aspect of its citizens' lives. One man dares to stand up to this faceless empire and vows to bring it to its knees: Arcturus Mengsk -- genius propagandist, tactician, and freedom fighter.

StarCraft: Ghost series

Book 1: Nova

Four years after the end of the Brood War®, Emperor Arcturus Mengsk has rebuilt much of the Terran Dominion and consolidated a new military force despite an ever-present alien threat. Within this boiling cauldron of strife and subversion, a young woman known only as Nova shows the potential to become Mengsk's most lethal and promising ""Ghost"" operative. Utilizing a combination of pure physical aptitude, innate psychic power, and advanced technology, Nova can strike anywhere with the utmost stealth. Like a phantom in the shadows, she exists only as a myth to the enemies of the Terran Dominion.

Book 2: Spectres (to be released on September 27, 2011)

What terror can haunt a ghost? Coinciding with the release of StarCraft II—the eagerly anticipated sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s top-selling science-fiction real-time strategy game—Nova, an elite stealth operative, embarks on a heartstopping mission that pits her against her own kind and her tragic, hidden past.

Ghosts epitomize the height of terran evolution and physical conditioning. Born with incredible psionic potential, they are recruited and quarantined for government training as children. Nova Terra, stripped of her memory upon joining the elite corps, welcomed the chance to put painful memories to rest. But now, her past returns to haunt her when a forgotten friend joins Nova’s investigation into a ghost-kidnapping plot. A shocking discovery pits her against shadows of her past and the future of terran psionic warriors: Spectres.

StarCraft: The Dark Templar Saga

Book 1: Firstborn

Jake Ramsey, an archaeologist, investigates a recently unearthed Xel'Naga temple on the world of Nemaka, only to discover a dying Protoss mystic. His identity begins to drown within the flood of alien memories, which grant to him the Protoss species' total history. Ramsey soon realizes that he has stumbled upon a secret so cataclysmic that it will shake the very foundations of the universe.

Book 2: Shadow Hunters

Driven by the living memories of a long-dead Protoss mystic and hounded by the Queen of Blades' ravenous Zerg, archaeologist Jake Ramsey embarks on a perilous journey to reach the fabled Protoss homeworld of Aiur.
Seeking a vital piece of Protoss technology, Jake finds that Aiur has been overrun by the Zerg. Descending into the shadowy labyrinths beneath the planet's surface, he must find the sacred crystal before time runs out -- for him...and the universe itself.
Yet, what Jake discovers beneath Aiur is a horror beyond his wildest nightmares -- Ulrezaj -- an archon comprised of the seven most deadly and powerful Dark Templar in history...

Book 3: Twilight

After the seeming defeat of the dark archon Ulrezaj on the protoss homeworld of Aiur, Jake and Rosemary become separated as they flee through the newly repaired warp gate. Rosemary finds herself with the other refugee protoss on Shakuras, while Jake is catapulted elsewhere. But Jake does not have long to live: their enemies are regrouping, and Zamara’s essence must be separated from Jake’s mind before time runs out.
Jake knows he must survive long enough for Zamara to pass on her vital secret. But which faction—Valerian, zerg, or the recovered and increasingly powerful Ulrezaj—will find them first? His only hope rests with the powerful and legendary Zeratul, but as Jake is about to learn…even a dark templar can have a crisis of faith.

StarCraft II series

Book 1: Heaven's Devils

For the poor, hardworking citizens of the Confederacy's fringe worlds, the Guild Wars have exacted a huge toll. Swayed by the promise of financial rewards, a new batch of recruits joins the fight alongside a slew of mysteriously docile criminals -- and a few dubious military leaders. Eighteen-year-old Jim Raynor, full of testosterone and eager to make things right at home, ships off to boot camp and finds his footing on the battlefield, but he soon discovers that the official mission is not what he's really fighting for.

For the first time ever, StarCraft enthusiasts will learn the origins of the enduring friendship between the young upstart Jim Raynor and the streetwise soldier Tychus Findlay. Watch as they battle on the front lines of a fierce interplanetary war and bear witness to the Confederacy's rank corruption -- corruption so reprehensible that it rains immeasurable death and destruction upon the government's own people.

Book 2: Devils' Due (to be released April 12, 2011)

In this direct tie-in to Starcraft II, Blizzard Entertainment and New York Times bestselling author Christie Golden present the all-new novel Devils’ Due—revealing the legendary exploits that shaped the game’s popular outlaw heroes, Jim Raynor and Tychus Findlay. Weapon of War

A psionic six-year-old boy is at the center of a brutal conflict between a Terran mining colony and the zerg--and the marines and miners must decide between the unthinkable: Do they save the boy and lose their lives? Or use him against their vicious attackers.

Vol. 2:

    Heavy Armor--Part 2

The adrenaline-pumping firefight between mentor and protégé escalates to a fierce climax. Will the young viking pilot outwit the man who taught him everything, or will the teacher remain the undisputed master of heavy armor - and doom a colony?

    Creep

Feared by all and understood by none, zerg creep finally comes under the knife in the laboratory of protoss scientists. But instead of shedding light on the bizarre bio-matter, the scientists spiral into a psychologically disturbing and nightmarish struggle against a completely unknown foe.

    Newsworthy

A pro-Dominion reporter lands a rare exclusive: an embedded mission with terran marines. Every good reporter tells both sides of the story, but when she comes face-to-face with atrocity, can she handle the truth, much less report it?

    A Ghost Story

Sterilized by war, a rocky planet's bounty and dark secrets have remained safely hidden… until a Kel-Morian Combine crew catches wind of it, hoping to strike big. There's just one problem - the planet seems to be haunted by a terror from its past.

Vol. 3:

    War-Torn

For years, Senator Corbin Phash used his power and influence to hide his young son Colin's psionic abilities from the Dominion, but their secret has finally been exposed. Now on the run and separated from his father, Colin is hding among thousands of refugees on a backwater moon. Even if Colin can escape being captured by a fierce Dominion wrangler, how can he stop being haunted by the trauma-induced nightmares of everyone around him?

    Do No Harm

The sadistic "Butcher of Korhal", Dr. Burgess gets his bloody hands on Muadun, a recently captured protoss high templar. The doctor's goal is to get inside Muadun's head—both figuratively and literally—to extract the data needed to mass-produce horrifying protoss-terran soldiers.

    Last Call

Although she's a lounge singer on the backwater mining post of Meteor Station, Starry Lace finds herself at the center of diplomatic intrigue. In brokering a new alliance between the Kel-Morians and the Dominion, the unlikely negotiator taps into skills of persuasion she never knew she had. But in this political chess game, is Starry a queen...or a pawn?

    Twilight Archon

As the head instructor of a protoss templar school, wise Lekila has always plumbed the depths of the Khala—the protoss' Path of Ascension—with the diligence of a student. But when the zerg sever Lekila's connection to the Khala, the psionic bond shared by all Aiur protoss, what more might the grieving teacher sacrifice to become whole again?

Vol. 4:

    Homecoming

Chris Metzen, Blizzard Entertainment's Senior Vice-President, Creative Development, brings you a never-before-seen story of Jim Raynor's past on Mar Sara—a tale that leads directly into the highly anticipated videogame StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty!

    Fear the Reaper

A reformed reaper's dark past threatens to raze his life into the ground—unless the intervention of a protoss dark templar proves that the scythe is mightier than the gauss pistol.

    Voice in the Darkness

An evil voice has been whispering in the darkness, a voice gone unheard...until now. When a terran archaeological mission falls prey to the heinous acts of the Voice, a brave dark templar team will have to face down a nightmarish enemy or the whole Koprulu Sector will spiral into madness...

    Orientation

After being hunted and captured by a Dominion wrangler, the young psionic boy Colin Phash has been taken to the Ghost Academy against his father's will. While Colin is inducted into this sinister institution, his father Corbin runs from what that which Colin is to become...

This issue is exclusive for the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Collector's Edition.

Volume 1

    WAR PIGS ON THE LOOSE!

Betrayed by Tamsen Cauley, the man who let them out of prison, the War Pigs split up and thought to live the rest of their days separately, hiding from friends and foes alike. Two years later they get an offer: If they kill Jim Raynor, Cauley will wipe the War Pigs' slates clean. They know they can't trust him...but sticking together gives them a slim chance of survival now that they've been found. And the Dominion may hate Raynor, but that doesn't make him a hero...does it?

Simon Furman (Transformers) spins a tale of betrayal, battles and alien infestations. Federico Dallocchio, Mike S. Miller, Brian Denham and Carlos D'Anda provide the stunning visuals for this bleak future.

Issue 1

From the bestselling Blizzard computer game comes the most explosive sci-fi action comic ever created! Join the WarPigs, a disbanded team of outlaws reunited by their former captain for one last job: the assassination of Jim Raynor!

Join creators Keith Giffen, Simon Furman and Federico Dallocchio for WildStorm's explosive foray into the world of STARCRAFT with this new ongoing series!

Issue 2

Based on the worldwide hit videogame! The War Pigs' quest to find and assassinate Jim Raynor begins in earnest. But before they can get anywhere fast, they first have to wrest their ship, the General Lee, from the hands of cutthroat pirates! Plus, just who is Cole Hickson? And what dark secrets from his past and present does he harbor? One way or another, the War Pigs are in for a rough ride.

Issue 3

Dark secrets are unearthed when a malign alien force from beyond the grave is unleashed aboard the ship General Lee and threatens to tear the War Pigs apart from within! As the search for Jim Raynor gathers pace, a team member's dark and blood-soaked past is laid bare, beginning a spiral of terror that pits War Pig against War Pig. Continue the journey into the extended galaxy of the best-selling video game!

Issue 4

The War Pigs are getting closer and closer to hunting down renegade marshal Jim Raynor, but obstacles and internal conflict continue to muddy the mission waters. Far-from-gentle giant Turfa Dei confronts the ghosts of his past while the team faces off against present day ghosts – the Dominion's elite and deadly.

Issue 5

On a zerg-infested world, the War Pigs come face-to-face with Jim Raynor, but it's becoming painfully clear that nothing is what it seems, least of all the man who brought them back together for this do-or-die mission – Cole Hickson. Prepare for revelations, shocks and cover-to-cover action! Plus, a peek at Nuura Joss' troubled past! This one has it all!

Issue 6

What exactly is Cole Hickson's connection to Jim Raynor? Unless the threads of the past can finally be unraveled, the future is looking distinctly truncated. Trapped and surrounded by hostile Zerg insectoids, not to mention a vengeful C.O. and his crack Cerberus unit, the War Pigs might be making their last stand as the Protoss prepare to incinerate the Zerg-infested world the War Pigs are stranded on!

Issue 7

The end of the first War Pigs arc looms, but who – if anyone – will still be standing when the dust settles on the doomed, zerg-infested, protoss-purged world of Urona Sigma? Embittered, vengeful Cerberus C.O. Lars Trakken is hell bent on payback, even in the face of impending Armageddon.

Issue 8 (cancelled)

The War Pigs mourn the death of one of their own, aware that their own days are now meagerly numbered. There’s no way forward and no way back, and an all-out suicidal tilt at Tamsen Cauley seems the only remaining option. But, behind the scenes, a powerful enemy of Cauley is making his own move. And the War Pigs are a resource “Ghostmaster General” Leonid Celsus could sorely use right now!

Issue 9 (cancelled)

The War Pigs launch their suicidal assault on Tamsen Cauley's mobile base of operations. Even if they're lucky, no one gets out alive! But this isn't the end. Unknown to the War Pigs, uber-Ghost Nova is shadowing them. But are her intentions merely a prelude to a fate far worse than death?
