StarCraft® II

Bronze Practice

Happy to see you guys are still up and going and that everything seems to be the way it used to be (as in, the channel's full of diamond players and inappropriate people :D) <3 I'm sorry I haven't been around too much, there's been all kinds of things happening. Just wanted to say hello and tell you I still often think about you!

Indeed, taking a break from this game is not something which is easily forgiven considering how competetive it is.

I'm experiencing the same issue right now. have you considered the fact that others might have improved way more than we actually lost "skill"? :D

Although not directed at me i would say its a combination of both. The end result remains the same though. Its hard to get up again!

Looking for some normal people for some fun 1v1's up to 4v4's. I am very sick with random people on the ladder. A lot of BM. Sometimes i think people take this game too seriously. Is this bronze practice channel is still maintained?

Yes the channel is still alive and well with around 50 members in the busiest hours. You will find people of all leagues though, so if you can find consistent training partners is not something i can gurantee.

Do come and visit.

Yeah its a pretty nostalgic thread. Also kinda wierd you have not posted here yet before considering you are one of the biggest regulars in the channel, still nice of you to tune in. And i concur, its an awsome channel with lots of cool people. Do feel free to join at any time.

Lately the channel is suffering from elitest players who think "bronze practice" means "tell those new players they suck big time".
It's a shame, because there are still a lot of nice and helpful people, but as there is no way to moderate channels in Starcraft (why???) some few guys can ruin a lot.
To avoid confusion: I LOVE to have those masses of high-league players there, who just improved since the start of the game and have a lot of advice.
If only those elitest attitudes could leave...

I will by no means defend elitist attitudes, but there is a reason people are in lower leagues. And if they say something wrong i dont see any problem with higher league players telling them how it is. Still, just bashing on lower leagues is something i frown upon and hope most in Bronze Practice do as well.

You are still the founder of the channel Zedrac, so all credit and rights goes to you. I am glad you appreciate my effort though and hope for many more good years to come with Bronze Practice.

So if you are a low league player looking for advice, someone who just want to chill with other likeminded or a high level players who wants to give a few tip to people, feel free to join our humble channel!

Hey emperor! :)

Hows it buddy. My apologies for not joining you lately. Diablo fever got me.

Glad to hear BP is still going, and hope you enjoy it. see you around when diablo fever is over and HOTS is here.

Going good if you disregard the fact i had a losing streak on both NA and EU right before GM opened meaning i am stuck in Master for another season.

Regarding BP we are off course going as we usually do. Had a couple of weeks with very little activity and visitors, but lately we have had close to 20 people most of the time, so things are looking good.

Would be nice to see you back for HoTS as well as any other old BP members that are not active at the moment.
