Diablo 3

Pretty obvious this would be brought up maybe. But what are your expectations for this game?
Me myself I am not sure, I was a little kid when I played starcraft (nothing online, nothing competitive) and I played Diablo 2, briefly online (nothing competitive). And then I played warcraft 3, not online at first. But more later, and I started laddering more. I guess I was still a newb then who loved to just mass a single amount of units or use a single strong hero. And I also started to become more competitive with other maps (and ladder) and I became good at it all. (not the best, but decent) And now with Starcraft 2 I can't say that I am not competitive now, it's the "rush" you get for outplaying and outsmarting your opponent that gets me now. Everything else is just a +. I think if we moved back in time but I am still older and like I am today I would not have played Starcraft as much as I did back then specially not vs boring computers and replaying the campaign several times (this is also true for old snes games, I could play them again and again and again. But I wouldn't today. Now I just want a hard challenge and then overcome it and then not play it again. I did play a bit minecraft, I still like it but I rarely play it now.) I did not play WoW because of the monthly fee. It felt like a fun game, and there seemed to be a balance between story / casual / challenge vise and competitive. Now where does Diablo 3 fit in? To me when I look back now Diablo 2 seemed to be to much story for me and I would just play it through normal. Maybe try hardcore or hell once or twice and maybe try each character. Now this feels odd, I totally forgot the main question I had. . . I think. . . Do you think this will be a game where you only play through the game with all characters on all difficulties (and find the hidden things?) and then to never play it again. Or will it be re-play able like Warcraft 3 or Starcraft 2 is still today. (I mean the game in total, we maybe don't replay the singleplayer but we play the game OR (to counter all you ""bash starcraft 2 as much as possible") lurking at their forums) |
I think this game will have great replayability! Even the developers themselves are constantly ensuring us that we will have tons of customization and hours upon hours of play time. In other words: this game will ROCK! |

i dont think it will have a shapeshifting class,probobly on an expansion? this game will totaly rock,i hope i get betta acces |

It will probably have lots of achievements to collect, like Blizzard-games have nowadays, thus giving it a lot of replayability. I can't wait to play it!

I don't think I'll be one who replays it, as I'm a guy who loves story and finds it boring to play games again. After getting one WoW account to level 80, it sucked training another up(roleplay account), as I already knew what would happened, and eventually I just gave up. |
I think Imma play Monk. :D In Diablo 3 there will be partially different storylines for different characters. That gives it a lot more replayability (I'm also a story junkie). |

I don't get it. Which class is the "Warrior" from Diablo 1 class? Or did they decide to drop that completely? Geesh, I hope they have space for new classes in expansions or something. There should be a Defensive Strength class and an Offensive Strength class. Just as there is Support Caster and Heavy Damage Caster, and Melee Agility and Ranged Agility.

The beta release date has been announced, cant quite recall what it was but husky posted a video about it on his channel.
Anyway, im gonna roll a witch doctor. Seriously, those guys are overrated, they are just hated because. 1. People cant accept anyone older than 30 as a character cause old guys boring and stuff and flashy lights>real experience 2.wd jsut necro wtf bvlizz u recycle 3. y u no bring back necro noobss |

I hope they have some really satanic stuff there like in diablo 2 and 1, not just some
"ooh well this is the evil demon lord diablo who wants to destroy the he.. holy sanctuary. They are not those traditional hell demons cause we dont want to piss off anyone cause killing demons is so blasphemous and stuff. We also removed all the pentagrams and references to hell, satan and god from the game. Oh and there are no crosses too cause thats offensive". If you're gonna make a DIABLO game don't water it down. Just... please. Show some balls and make something that is really some hardcore stuff without sparing some adolescents in a sensitive age. |
