Hello. I've tried to look around if anyone has had the similiar problem as I have but I havent found anything yet. A few people on the Us forums are experiencing the same problem as I am. My account has changed into a Starter Edition -account. I used to be able only to play multiplayer and no Single player, now its vise versa.
Now when I try to play multiplayer I get a message saying this : "Battle.net's exclusive multiplayer matchmaking service matches you against other similarly ranked players from Battle.net's leagues and ladders." !!! -> "To unlock this feature click upgrade now" So when I hit upgrade now my browser opens and I need to log in to my battle.net account. When I'm done, there is no such possibility as to upgrade my account. I can only see my account information and everything looks very normal there. |

I also have the starter edition problem, however it seems like I can play the campaign and Multi, but I can't watch a replay, that gives me this message: http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j345/eXeTimelog/Screenshot2011-07-2115_15_35.jpg
It is a replay from before the patch. And my system clock is set correctly. ***Edit*** The problem disappears if I load the replay from the battle.net menu. However I can't start it by double clicking on the replay or by dragging it on my sc2 shortcut. |

Hi!
I just tried to play the "A sinister turn" mission for the first time in the campaign and got a request to update my game version from a starter edition to a standard one, although I bought the standard edition in the first place. After reading the thread above I checked my system clock, both in windows and also in BIOS, and it is set to the correct time. As far as I can see, my account at Blizzard.com looks OK. My SCII reads "active". |

Well is there any way around this? I also noticed it says "Starter Edition" at the top of the UI on battle.net, but I can't change my time because this is also my work computer and I need it synched to my employer's time (1 hour in advance). This is not really a fix, if a person payed for the full edition he should have it.
