My pc is starting to show high fps drops in games :(. It`s not a driver, fan cleaning problem, i simply want to be able to play games at a higher graphic settings. I noticed that a lot of games nova days require a higher shader capabilities.

Well... for starters i recommend getting an ATI Radeon HD 5670 to replace your NVIDIA.
Same one im using and its working just fine on max graphics, though 4v4 games are a pain to go through. EDIT: Im saying this because i consulted my big brother about this and he is an expert when it comes to hardware. Im no expert on these kinds of things. |

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=557&card2=623# That`s just great. That should keep me busy for a while. Another bonus question is : A multicore processor(like mine) has its power 2.4ghz combined(all cores sums up to 2.4) or each individual core has the 2.4ghz speed? How much difference does a video card processor make?
Usually i build my own computer, but now i just want to change one piece of my computer(if and only if it makes a big difference), i`ll buy a new one next year, but until then... Edit: What should i consider a priority on video cards? It`s processor? Memory? Memory speed? And what is with all the video card technologies like PhysX, CUDA, PureVideoHD, 3D Vision and more? Should i pay a close attention for those? Basically i know that video card memory is for working with more pixels so basically more memory = greater fluency in higher resolutions. The processor for higher graphics(more polygons for smoother edges) ? And what does the bandwidth allocation do? The speed at which it communicates with the motherboard or the speed between its processor and its memory? Anything else i should know about it? |
Ooook.... is that good or bad? |
