Seriously you are the only one that cast Protoss replay as far as I know, and you are European... so why not?

Husky does aswell, but he's VERy versatile in picking videos as long they're good, he casts em :)

So I use fraps to record in game, the bought version because it's fantastic.

I use Virtualdub to compress, with Xvid codec for the video compression and MP3 codec for the sound compression. Using this method you get 1080p vids which will be around 1gb per 10 mins of captured video, they take a while to upload to youtube but are well worth it considering the quality.

As for a mic I use a ridiculously cheap £5 mic I got about 6-7 years ago, hasn't let me down yet, although I would some day like a really good mic in order to record sound at a really nice quality.

Any tips on casting? I guess just be yourself, aspiring to be like HD or Husky isn't my idea really of claiming success, since afterall, they already exist. I would say I like to try be myself but i'm not 100% sure i'm there yet lol. Your videos obviously have to serve some kind of purpose, be it factual or for entertainment (i.e. funny), so don't just lumber through videos pointing out the obvious, make it a show, something people want to keep coming back to watch episode after episode.

I hope this stuff helps, i'm terribad with this kinda stuff. If you have any other questions my email is on the first post of the thread.

Have you considered posting this on the zerg and terran forums? This might get you an even bigger audience, because me as a protoss watch PsY for example too. This to get insight into the zerg mechanics, seeing protoss win and lose vs zerg and because hes a cool dude. I reckon this could be the same for you :) Keep it up, liking it alot.

Yuck, sorry for the bad advice mate. Seems we forgot about the fact that the Terrans obviously don't possess our level of intelligence lol. Funny how people can react to someone trying to be helpful...

Meh it's no problem man, the amount of flack i've recieved from people in general about my channel is quite amusing at this point. Some people like it, some don't. I try not to take it too personally, as much as i'd like to consider I love the "work" I do.

I finally took a gander at your videos as off now and i was like OMFG its AWESOME and went all psychodellic eyes and what not.

No but srsly, this is awesome man, I wish I could promote this some way better because its just so nice to have good european casters! :D

Huh - seems there's a degree of, what, not-trolling in here that doesn't exist in your terran thread... there's probably a meaning to that.
