The final part of the Brood War campaigns on Starcraft 2 has been released today! All 58+1 maps of the 1998 games are now available for download at http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/sc1-episode-6-queen-blades/

The maps feature original units, musics and dialogs from Brood War, the mission are also indentical with the same terrain and objectives. They also includes a number of cutscenes, all with SC2 improved UI and graphics. A video trailer is available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vajfS4W_-oY

Excellent :) I will check it out as soon as possible. I have a question, though. Will the complete Enslavers campaign be released as well? I downloaded the first part and I really liked it because of insane difficulty.

I'm working on the Protoss Brood War campaign, and it will be out in March. As for the other two campaigns, terrain is ready and I could do the triggers, but I won't have the time to balance the difficulty. So I need someone else before I can move to the other campaigns.

There are only five maps in the Enslavers campaign, they were intended as a bonus shipped with the original game rather than a fully fleshed campaign. Note that the Cerebrate cannot be killed except by Dark Templar since the latest mod update, so the Enslavers maps need to be fixed before they are playable again.

In Homeland, I don't have Fenix under my control and I lose the game in the first 5 seconds...
Also armor and plasma shield upgrade don't apply to high templars.

If you don't have a hero and lose the game immediately, be sure you have downloaded the last version of the mod (vC3.0) and put it in Starcraft II/Mods (your main SC2 folder, not in Documents).
In fact, check that first if anything goes wrong.

The remake of the secret level Dark Origin is playable, as a bonus between the two protoss campaigns. Don't play it if you don't know the storyline of Brood War though, it is the penultimate level of the entire game.

Excellent, thank you very much Telenil. I just finished the Dark Origin and I must say, it's an excellent map. Also, this is from the time when Zeratul was cool and badass and wasn't dumbed down to an old CAPS LOCK fool. Ah, those were the times...

I was playing the SC1 Protoss campaign remake (last level) and I would like to report 3 issues:

1 - you have only 200 unit supply (in the original you had 400 for this level)

2 - dragoon movement speed is 3, which is faster than it should be I think

3 - infested terran agrro should be higher than Zerglings and Hydralisks (it was so in the original)

Aside from that great remake :)

Supply will be fixed in the next update. Dragoons were about as fast as stalkers, if they feel different, that's mostly because they used to have a terrible pathing and IA.

By "aggro", do you mean they should spot enemies from a greater distance?

I meant that if enemy units (Zerglings, Hydralisks and Infested Terrans) get to your range of fire, the infested terrans should be considered as a higher priority target. I think it was so in SC1.

Hard difficulties are now up in the Protoss campaign. The second protoss campaign should be released within two weeks, and the second terran campaign (UED) is being worked on.

Oh, I can't wait :) The UED campaign was my favourite from all six old campaigns.
