Hi,

I'm a mid master terran player, and I realized that terran buildings take a lot of space (lot of building production, supplys, add-ons). And in more than a few games, this was the reason I lost.
For example in TvT you want your marines (bio play) or your hellions (mech play) to fluently run through your base in order to be more effective and take less damage when it comes to pushing back drops or banshees. You also do not want to put your buildings that are in your main to close to the edge of your base to prevent siege tanks damage.

So my question is, is there anyone who has good tips or knows a really good guide about terran buildings placement ? (what i found so far on sc2/teamliquid forums is not that good)

I usually write 'NO' with my supply depots, it's an easy way of letting the opponent know I don't want to be harassed.

most buildings can be placed one tile above/below one another, this seems to me to optimise space and doesnt get in the way of any add ons you may put down at some point.
Supply depots are best spread around the edges of your base to gain more vision.
