When a game finishes I see the emblem next to opponents names indicating their league ie bronze silver.
I often find however that when i view their profile this is not the league they are in. I thought it was because they got promoted for that game, but i have seen evidence to the contrary. Any one else seen this, is it normal? |

I'm guessing you are refering to team games.
That's normal cause people don't have only 1 position for a certain bracket. For example you can play against a guy who is in gold league 4v4 with a team (and that is his best league) and it will show him as being gold in 4v4, but now he's playing 4v4 alone and he's in bronze in 4v4 random. At the end of the game you will see him as 4v4 bronze because that's his actual position in the game he played, but his profile will show 4v4 gold since that's his best league. |

Please try really hard not to pay any attention to the league icons on a players profile unless you really really know what you are looking at. Otherwise, as Abaddon has discovered, things get confusing and you have the urge to post whine threads all over Bnet. And we all know how much we all hate whine threads! :P @Blizzard: Might I suggest (...again!) that we could use an in game help guide, or better yet, some tool tips that clearly explain these things. That way we would have less QQ and less flaming of the QQ. Much obliged. |

A click on their profile will show random league as far as I know, while after the game you see they league they are in with the team they have just played with.
So if you played against a random those two should be equal. If you played against arranged they may differ though. |
