Starcraft 2 tips & tricks
Question: That's a bit of an exageration. Mostly the reason is that you get a better framerate especially when there are a lot of units on screen, which is more comfortable and necessary to see clearly what's going on in heavy battles. Personnaly I like a minimum of 45 fps, and considering that the game is relatively consuming in GPU/CPU power, many people need to lower their settings. You get also a better contrast with less random decorations to distract you. Some shader effects are better left disabled, for example the nuclear launch red dot blends with the background in the highest shader settings, and does not in high settings, making it easier to see. |

Control : Is there any way of binding this to a different key? Q, for example would be very good esp for protoss for building probes :) couldn't see a way in the hotkey menu, might have missed it though. |

Now every time i see a Lyote, i will destroy it with mouse clicking :D

Don't know if it's been said before in this thread (didn't get through the trolling on page 2), but what I usually do is put all of my commandcenters/hatcheries/nexus under CTRL-0. This way you can always quickly use chronoboost, land mules, do a scan or whatever by tapping 0, then c or whatever quick button you must use.

thanks for the moving drop tip, been looking for this for so long....
-blinkstalkers are a LOT stronger if you micro them well. just blink a stalker back as soon as he is out of shields. -you can place a forcefield on the middle of a zerg building to split up the broodlings that spawn when its killed, making it much easier to destroy buildings with small amounts of units -when a place is defended by only a couple siege tanks drop some expandable units (marines, zealots, zerglings) exactly on a tank to make the other tanks kill it |
I have never gotten this to work with Siege Tanks. Is it possible? |
Question: I have a super computer forged by the dwarfs in Middle Earth, yet I use only the lowest setting. On maxed settings, I keep between 55-60 fps (locked the fps to 60) in 4v4 with maxed armies. The low graphics setting just look better in my opinion. Cartoonish. And it is also easier to find a single unit when the !@#$storm comes. |
Or build stalkers and attack command. Or muta. Have 2 groups of muta and attack from different sides of the enemy base. Easy as ape!@#$. |
Tip: I guess you have just started a little storm? |
