The best mouse in the world?
|
So yeah, I currently have a Logitech G9x lazer mouse and I'm super pleased with it...
But for no particular reason, I want the best mouse in the world... I know some of you are going to say, "its opinion based, WHAA whaaa!" Anyways I just want a mouse who won like" the best mouse award for 2012 at the oscars mouse award ceremony..." or so.. xD |

With a gaming mouse you can turn the DPI way up above 3000 and turn mouse acceleration/precision off, so that the mouse directly reflects your movements. It makes a difference; that's the primary reason to get one. |

Yeah, maybe if you are top 10 GM competing in the GSL using a Razer Spectre will make a difference. However to any normal non-pro player... A Standard Optical Mouse is ALL you need to play the game. Logitech Mini Opticals and B110/M100 are AMAZING for SC II... they are really good and would recommend it to anyone....
I don't like 'gaming' mice and the way they are designed with their thumb grooves/lots of buttons - I just can't stand it. |
I'm retired, so as far as I'm concerned... I'm a pro player ;D And I don't want cheap mice, I want as good of a mouse as I possibly can get
Well, I wasn't asking for "the best mouse award at the anarki's award ceremony"
Not true, better mouse accuracy can improve any player, even a diamond scrub such as me. |

Ever tried a Standard Logitech USB Optical Mouse? It uses high quality Class 1 Optical Sensors... and it goes EXACTLY where you want it... you can't go wrong with optical sensors.
It has a scroll wheel and 2 buttons. A simple, accurate no-nonsense mouse. What more do you need??? |
It has to cost more.... ^^ The most fcked up logic in the world, I know... And I'm not proud of it at all. I'm just sitting here laughing over how stupid I sound. But If I buy an expensive mouse that looks like it suits me and has won some kind of award for being a good mouse, chances are its really really good. |

There is no 'best mouse' contest. Could you clarify what you want in the mouse? Like size, weight, buttons etc?

Go to a PC store, check all the mice, see which ones fit your pivot and stance, and then ask to test some of the settings on a PC. Sometimes they're nice and let you.
If they are, test them and see which one you like. It's genuinely just preference. My friend claims that steelseries sensei is the best mouse, but I don't like the way it sits in my hand. |

talk about how good it is to have more DPI always reminds me of baby diaper commercials.
a bunch of years ago absorbant pads were added to make it the best diapers ever! then even better absorbant pads were added, making it the best diaper ever! then they added special strips that made fitting even better, making it the best diaper ever! then they changed the thickness, so now they are just as thick as a regular underpants, making it the best diaper ever! long story short: dont get caught in the marketing machine that is e-sports. i know guy who professionally plays FPS games. wanna know which mousepad he uses?....a sheet of paper, taped to the tablesurface. its the person that makes the player, not the hardware he buys. as long as you dont have one of those ancient ball mice, you'll be fine dpi wise. dont be fooled into thinking you need to spend 50+ euro on a mouse. |
|
Get a razer naga epic its wireless, has custom lighting, and it has 17 buttons that can be programed :O and dpi settings up to 5600 dpi
Only if you want to spend some cash though its expensive which from your ansers to anarki u want to spend |
Too big for my taste... Its almost like holding a ball...
Rather small/medium mouse somewhere in between and heavy, although I don't like tiny mice. I like to have around 2-4 buttons on my mouse. |
