Meh, Blizzard is giving us only things to destroy terrans in HOTS, The Viper for the tanks, the cloud for the Bio.. Nothing much vs the protoss, I don't think I need more than my bane + lings + festor to defeat a Terran Army, I'm still feared of protoss stalker deathball.. not even about colossus Does Stalker count as Bio Too? The cloud works only on Bio |

Swarm host isn't removed.

no, the only bio unit protoss has is the zealot. so I doubt the cloud is going to be used against toss lmfao |
With the Raven's cost of 200 frickin' gas, you gain an edge just by forcing them to build it. And they suck as spellcasters. PDD is the only real reason to get them :/ . In any case, moving burrowed banes would turn the game into insanity. Entire bases would evaporate in the blink of an eye. Not much sport left to observe there. |
Is infestation pit still the required prerequisite for Hive? That's the same as asking why Terrans need the Armory for lvl 2 bio upgrades and why Toss need Cybernetics Core for robotics armies. It's all arbitrary prerequisites to make rushing for higher tech a big investment. |
It's not arbitrary. They designed the game so that infestor with Hive tech was to be the end game plan. Thors were supposed to be a part of terran end game just as carriers and Mothership was supposed to be protoss. They made it so you need a certain building at a certain time to get whatever tech you definitely wanted because they were trying to guide you into a certain unit composition regardless of wether or not you like that unit composition. |
Yeah i mean hey, why would Zerg get a unit that is actually dangerous from stealth perspective, and require the enemy to actually build constant cloakdetection units?????? No, scan should be enough for terrans.... |
