I looked up and see that in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm campaing there will be implemented missions that you will have to chose one world from a bunch of worlds to destroy in order to evolve the swarm !
Look here 13.26
Will this still be implemented in the campaing ? Because no one seems to talk about this and i didnt see any other videos or links about this Destructions of Worlds missions ?

there were a couple of threads about this a long while back. but no, people arn't really talking much about the campaign. i made a thread recently asking for some new info to be released, because everything i find is dated. it isn't too popular though because either people don't really care for how the campaign is developing, or because people are immersed in the beta atm.
unfortunately all the info in that paragragh comes from may 2011. so v.dated. tbh we havn't heard an aweful lot in over a year:0
if it is comparable to WoL gameplay, level designs and features, the HoTS campaign should be great too; however, i won't be making a leap of faith based on that knowledge alone.

I mean, let's presume that the game will this time have more choice outcome than WoL. Remember you didn't HAVE to do all the missions in WoL to complete the campaign.
It would imply, with these missions, you could choose to commit or not commit genocide. Thereby affecting how Kerrigans plot progresses...
So either this will have no effect on the plot outcome like WoL did with the Horner missions, or there will be missions you should deliberately avoid doing to be protagonistic. Which isn't good for several reasons.
I wouldn't put much thought into it though. I'd rather be oblivious to what lies ahead.
They say that it will be 20 normal missions (as I understand) and maybe 14 short skirmish for the unit splits and those might take 5 minutes to complete i think.

mmmmmm i was thinking about this cloud be a mission from the main story or a bouns mission like zerutel mission on wol or maybe it will be an upgrade like the upgrade on the libre on wol when u choic a zerg upgrad and toss upgrade we cant We expect we need more info about this
Are we sure this is still in the game ? We have not heard of it for over a year (Blizzcon 2011). Moreover, one of the ability they talked about (increasing the overlords' population capacity) is now a power we can get by leveling Kerrigan up. However, nothing about the increased capacity of drones to gather more minerals so maybe. Does anyone have info on this destruction of worlds mechanic ?
Destruction of World are no longer in the game.
Just look at the Kerrigan's unlockable skills. One of them improves drones, while the other improves overlords - and these were meant to be part of this system.
Moreover, during the last press preview Chris Sigaty confirmed that this system is no longer in the game. I've read it on the official polish fansite - here:
Here's a translated quote:
In the playable demo we didn't get a chance to play around with the system that allows you to conquer the galaxy you mentioned at the last Blizzcon. Is it stil in the game or did you decide to cut it?
You can still choose which planets you go to in game when playing both main and evolutionary missions. Zerg strains that need your help still linger on many planets. However, the system you're talking about is no longer in the game.
I honestly feel a "click to destroy 1 world of your hating" would either be a) a waste of a mission or b) completely redundant if it wasn't a mission.
This was a pretty flacid design idea from the start. Good riddance.
