player leaving game instant = free money for ally
|
Im so tired of playing 2v2 vs this !@#$ty strat. His ally leaves the game right away which gives his friend enough money to throw down the pool instantly. On some maps with huge rocks its almost impossible to hold the mass speedlings banes attack thats incoming so fast :/

I agree with Shusuke that these things happen and on some maps are almost nearly impossible to stop. Blizzard could easily fix this, for example, by forcing a tie within the first 5min of a game if a player leaves.

6 pool, did it work? No => leave, yes => stay. Applicable to other cheeses aswell. Such a thing would be easy to abuse and therefore shouldnt be implemented. It could also be used to avoid matchups one dosnt like. Not that i care about teamgames, but i dont think your suggestion would work. |

Yh i think the 5 min is to long.. they could set it to 1 min. if a player leaves within the first min they should just make the game a draw. i feel bad for those who have random allies and gets left alone from the start. But if they just do the pool right away their lings will be at the base before units can be out. and with the extra income they will get speed so fast, while still producing mass lings.
I just dont wanna face teams who do this on purpose. its the same with teams who just send ressources to one player, which makes him tech up insanely fast while still having a massive army. recently there been so many teams who has donated everything to the toss. He then just goes for mass chargelots archon which is pretty damn hard to hold so early in the game unless you know its coming from the start. |

By far the easiest fix would be that the resouce merging for a player leaving to be the same timer as the resource trade function, which can only start being done a few miniutes in.

Which would make it advantageous to just rush the remaining player. He has to micro manage 2 armies and bases at once, one of which he doesn't even have the min/gas/supply interface visible. |
and you can't defend it? |
