Soooooo.... patch 1.5

As you all know, the forum has been bombarded with threads about the latest patch 1.5. Most of them are negative, wherein people mostly talk about the new Fog of War. Let's just start with that.
I don't really see why Blizzard changed it. I, along with a whole bunch of people, liked the old FoW a lot better. Now it looks like... I don't even know what to compare it to. All I know, is that the old FoW was better. Now, there is another problem with patch 1.5. That is correct, the UI. I find it a lot harder to browse other people's profiles now, to see how highly ranked they are. The old was a whole lot better than the current one, and I know most people agree with me. I don't know if Blizzard is going to listen to the majority of people on these forums, but they just need a lot of time to fix a lot of these "problems", or if they're just going to let it stay as it is. Hopefully, they are going to "fix" it, and may that be very soon. |

I like the new FoW more and a lot of competitive gamers like too... Why? I'm nearly TOP 25 masters and now with new FoW it's easier to spot units in the minimap than it was before (a slight difference!). FoW is good, deal with it, UI sucks, that's what people are mostly discussing about. |

Performance issues are the only real justifiable reason for people to be complaining. FoW still works the exact same way (provided you haven't got the bug that makes it not work properly)
Same with anything new for any online community, people always get up in arms when things have changed. Give it a fortnight and people will be happy with it - Provided some technical issues are fixed, the UI people will just stop complaining when they get used to it |
