We are preparing to invite testers for the Heart of the Swarm beta very soon! To be clear, this test will be for the multiplayer experience only. We will begin with a select group, including many players who assisted us in testing Patch 1.5, as well as some pro-gamers and press. Over time, we will add more and more testers into the mix.
If you are interested in participating in the beta test, please make sure you are opted in for beta testing. You can do this by clicking "Beta Profile Settings" under the Account Management section of your Battle.net account. Note that the opt-in doesn't guarantee entry, but gives you a chance at joining the beta test. Also, we'll be working with your favorite fansites and community personalities to give away more entries to the beta test, so keep an eye out for invites coming from the greater StarCraft community over the coming weeks. We can’t wait to get the public test started for Heart of the Swarm, and we look forward to collecting your feedback. The Swarm is coming! Please note: While the Heart of the Swarm Beta will be accessible in all regions, the languages supported for the Beta will only include the following: English, German, French, and Korean. Support for additional languages in the Beta may be added later. |

Can't you ever have a deadline? :\
I mean seriously, can't you just state the day that you start the beta instead of saying "soon" for 2 years? I would rather you would've posted this massege when you actually knew when the beta would start. |

ILPotatoLisk I am pretty sure they actually have a deadline, though not a public one. And if they hit that deadline, they can be sure to give us a date, or if they just hit a certain point at a certain time so they will know sort of when they can release the beta. Just my theory EDIT: If they would just throw out a date when you want and not when they feel comfortable doing it, if they would not manage to be done until that time it would cause more people to be upset and angry then it would be to wait and be patient, and give a date later. |

Looking forward to this
One step closer to new units, tactics, some love for the old units that don't get built anymore. Some much needed variation and freshness nuff said. Shoutcasters screaming oh my god the abduct instead of oh my god the fungals ... and ...oh my god the entombs and ... oh my god god its the carrier ! ... oh no wait ... well anyway they'll be screaming new stuff :p Should be great ! |
