Hi there!
I have a new computer that i built and was looking forward to playing Starcraft on higher settings.
The problem is that it lags. On ultra it's like 100 fps (and that's great), and on low it's like 300.
But when a egg pops, or a pylon is set down, or even a small engagement between a morauder and a zergling happens, it lags. The lag isn't as extreme on low as on ultra, but it's still there!

Specs:
Windows 7 64 bit
Geforce GTX 560 TI 1024 mb ram
4 gb ram in system.
CPU Core i5 3450 3,1Ghz
Latest nvidia drivers.
Heat temp - 55C (normal)

Please help, I'm panicking! :(

BTW even if you have high fps, if your opponents are lagging, you will be lagging too and there is not a single thing you can do about it.

Yeah, also tried against AI, still lags. So it can't be the Internet.
But it's so strange, it suddenly jumpes down to like 4 fps, and then it gets up to whatever fps it was before.

However - I have friends that didn't experience any lag at all after the patch.. so it apparently isn't something that everyone has. Unfortunately, i have it.

Oh, and another thing: After running the game a while, the game crashes. Like, after 30 minutes. It's not even overheating, so I don't get what the problem is..
