Am i the only one who thinks this? Yeah they're strong units, but they're just so SLOW. Come 4v4's and its basically a race to try and get to the enemy base first before my allies >.< the general play style of brood lord is just pretty boring too...

I can't be the only one who thinks this? I just find it hell of alot more fun swarming a base in ultras or something :)

Then dont pick them in 4vs4 games
or pick a different race

They have to be slow, or else they'd be overpowered.

I find them both fun. Broodlord based army a little bit more powerful than Ultralisk based army imo.

How you'd even ever get to build an effective end game broodlord army in 4v4 is beyond me.

But no, I don't think they are boring. Though, I don't think they supposed to be very exciting either.

Broodlord stalker fight is the most fun to watch. And sending broodlings to a marine blob and watching the tanks fire makes me think "Yea Broodlord you are totally worth the money".

It doesnt fit the race at all. THe problem is zerg is lacking defensive stuff like walls and such, have really open bases, so its easy to harass and such.

Then suddenly they give zerg the slowest unit in the game as their main tier 3, and i dont mean slow as in 2.25 because that is slow. i mean SUPER FREAKING SLOW as in 1.41 its just a joke. seriously buff broodlords to 2.00 or 2.25 then nerf dmg whatever is required. instead of gimping zerg with units that are so slow they cannot be microed, its simply not fun. it even looks frustrating when the best zergs in the world cant micro or do anything but what them die because they are so slow and clumped together.

Try splitting brood lords vs HSM while using infestors to hold back marines and vikings. That's not boring at all.

Don't like it, don't use it. It's not like you have to have a good unit composition to win at your diabolical level anyway, you're in Bronze 4v4.
