I'm working on it with another guy Tobbi, so far we haven't done much but when (or if) we get any maps fully done I'll post a notice here letting you all know.

You can, Precursor was featured not long ago and had all Voice acting and transmissions.

The problem is that, so far, you can't connect singleplayer scenarios like in SC1 due to the battle.net upload thing.

I am trying to recreate some of the Starcraft 1 maps for Starcraft 2. I am focusing more on the higher end maps, which could potentially give some challenge when recreated with extra difficulty. Since focus is more on the gameplay and challenge, I haven't included dialogues at all. At least I try keep similarity on map structure and AI scripts (on easy) and triggers, althou some changes may be done, and some unit type changes between sc1 and sc2 as well to create something different from original. (As example, using Reapers instead of Firebats)

I have published my first map on public, Zerg10x map "Omega" from Brood War.

So if you want to try it, just Create Game -> Search "The Omega" -> fill the empty slots with A.I. and start game. (Difficulty will be selected ingame, and playing player if you have your friend(s) observing)
(Easy is what mostly refers to original AI script and difficulty, rest are for extra challenge. And there is big gap in difficulty between "Easy" (1x waves) and "Very Hard" (2x Waves, with campaign upgrades and much more active rebuilding))

I would be glad to get some feedback and suggestions for improvements.

Next map I try to finalize is Zerg07x "Drawing of the Web", Preview: http://i56.tinypic.com/35d69w3.jpg Needs little bit polishing and cleaning.

That looks awesome man, really good stuff right there, the only thing I can really do is the map design and unit layout type stuff. I'm getting help with putting in the sounds and triggers etc.(which is the actual hard part) but yeah, good job with the maps.

Psh - when I watched the Youtube vid of Protoss Level 7, I intially thought you made an exact replica of SC1... turns out you were using the Resolution Hack on SC1 ... <_<

did you watch the entire video? I showed the level in SC1 with the higher resolution so it would be easier to compare my version with the original.

If some one atempts this now... maybe one can include the sound files from those missions, if thats possible that is. Would be awsome to hear Fenix again :P

Hey guys! I made my own map of the first terran mission. One problem tho... Cant publush. Always says GATEWAY DOWN. As far as i could figure its coz of custom sounds and music. If anyone can help, it would be grt. Would love to show u guys. Ps . I added starting briefing in mission. :)
